In my opinion the demonica is better but the nightwalkers is a series not to be missed they are very good.. I would tell you to try the fist one I think there is 5 so far in this series..
If you hear any more demons let me know I get tired of vamps all the time..

I have to second the Frank series -- it's very good! Very dark and complex world.

Also, I LOVE Gena Showalter's Lord of the Underworld series. HOT demons. HOT. And lots of humor to go with the darkness. I highly recommend it!

I also love Jaci Burton's Demon Hunter series. The world is a little more contemporary, but it's very good!

This is more UF but The Phoenix Chronicles has a "dealing with demons" undercurrent. Book 1 is Any Given Doomsday by Lori Handeland. For that dark as sin appeal I liked Book 1 in the Darkyn series. I will definitely continue that one. If Angels Burn by Lynn Viehl

hey enjee! i read it and its pretty good! but its so short that you dont have to buy the book... if you can find the time i went into Barnes and Nobles and read it in the store... depending on how fast you read and how many distractions you have... im have an average reading speed so it took me about an hour.... hope that helps

I really recommende Debra Dunbar's Imp series. It's about a minor demon posing as a human on Earth, where she is on a 40 year extended vacation. All the while trying to hide from angels who kill demon trespassers on Earth. It's exellent and humorous, just like Demonica. (2 of my favourite series) Highly recommended.
