Jim | 3 comments It was a book about a Old jewish man I believe set in the error of WWII, with a nazi back drop. He has a daughter as well, and I believe it was in a castle or some type of old fort. Anyway there's a vampire in the bottom trapped somewhere and he has been promising the man that he is in fact jewish and is outraged at the nazi's and if he lets him out, he will kill them all for it. And at the same time a drifter staying with the old man, who actually turns out to be hunting this evil creature.

As for the date I read it, must have been 04, a teacher gave it too me in Highschool to read when he caught me reading a stephen king novel instead of doing class work lol. It must have been for adults since i believe the drifter and the daughter slept together, plus having it deal with nazi's im sure it wasnt meant for kids.

If anyone knows the author or the book title i would be appreciative, I read it so long ago and it was a great book.
