BOTM System ~~ Member Feedback ~~ Polls (MUST SEE)

Okay, this is something really important. I'm thinking about bringing a change in the BOTM system. Below, I've set up different categories of BOTM and also provided the links of the poll. If you want a particular BOTM category, please vote on the respective poll. Voting on more than one category poll is allowed.

1)Standalones (Free pick)

In this category, each month there will be a genre free nomination of books. A poll will be set up for the nominations and the books with the top two votes will be selected as BOTM.

2)Genre-based books

In this category, a different genre each month will be decided by me and members have to nominate books of that genre. The books can be part of a series or standalone. The books with the top two maximum votes will be the BOTMs.

3)Series Read

In this category, we will decide a series and read each part of it one after the other each month. For eg, this month we are reading Game of Thrones, the first book in A Song of Ice and Fire series.

4)Series Continuation

In this category, we will continue a series previously started in some other month's BOTM, not necessary in a consequent manner. In this, we will read parts of series which have/had been read by us in some other month's BOTM.

For eg, if suppose in the month of January, we read the book Harry Potter #1 as BOTM. So, according to this category, we can read the book Harry Potter #2 as a BOTM for next month. Then, maybe we can read Harry Potter #3 as the BOTM 2 months later.

1)Difference between Series Read and Series Continuation

In Series Read, we read all parts of the series in consequent months, i.e, one after the other. In Series Continuation, we won't necessarily read the parts of the series on a consequent basis.
