If PKD came back from whereever in the universe the pink light dropped him, what do you think he'd think about the way we live today?

Did his dream or nightmare about the human condition come true?

Is it all his fault for thinking it? Is there any way out for mankind? Would he care enough to make it a real issue?

I think he would be horrified at how far we've come along the path he warned us about. Kipple filling our streets and homes, advertisments that are tagetted at you, the creation of alternate worlds using "alternate facts", the loss of empathy for other humans who are demonised and made to seem less than people. I don't think you could have a more 'Dickian' (interpret that word as you will) President of the USA than Donald Trump.

Not that there isn't resistance, but will we be in time to salvage a liveable world from the emotionally-distant 'androids' who apparently run things?
