She nodded a little, "I don't know."
"I'll keep you safe." He whispered, holding her as close to him as possible
"How?" she asked pulling away to look at him
"I'll fight for you, I'll do anything for you." He told her softly
She nodded just a little, not saying anything yet. She was still having a hard time with him willing to do so much for her
He rubbed her back gently. "It'll be okay." He promised.
She clung to him and nodded again.
She sighed softly, "I want to go home." She whispered to him
Josh nodded, "I'll get the car you stay here."
He looked at her and kissed her lips gently
Josh pulled up with the car a few minutes later. Noelle hesitated a minute before softly kissing him back
He smiled a little and led her to he car
She followed after him with Grace behind
She stayed close to him as she got into the car
She smiled a little and she slipped into the car
She put her seatbelt on as her dad drove them all back to her house
He leaned back and closed his eyes. He was tired
She watched him with her big green eyes not saying anything
He didn't know she was looking at him. His hands were clenching and unclenching in fists as he thought of Jack
Her eyes traveled down his face to his hands she frowned a little, wondering why he was doing that. However instead of saying anything she reached out and slid her fingers between his. Noelle sat there looking at their hands and wondering how someone like Reese could love her even after everything she had been through
He opened his eyes when she took his hand and looked at her, smiling a little. "Thank you." He said softly
She had still been staring at him and smiled just a bit," You're welcome."
He kissed her hand gently and held it tightly. She was the only thing keeping him sane right now
She blushed just a little at the way he was with her. She thought back to all of the times she and jack had gone out with Reese and one of his girl friends. He had never been this way with them
He loved her more then anything, and hoped that she knew that. He would love her no matter what.
She looked back down at their hands and sighed thinking of the different ways Reese made her feel loved and protected just by touching her. Whereas when Jack touched her all she felt had been fear
He rubbed his thumb over the back of her hand and sighed softly.
She smiled a little and let herself lean into his arm
He grinned and kissed the top of her head
She relaxed a little more and started drawing on the back of his hand with her free hand
He smiled, shivering a little but liking it. He loved when they acted intimate, but in a friendly way.
She smiled a little feeling his shiver against her arm. She continued what she was doing until they got home
He sighed softly when they got there and let go of her hand for a moment as he got out
She frowned a little when he pulled away from her until she noticed they were home. She slid out of the car
She smiled a little more at him. She loved him for not pushing her to do more with him
She followed after him her parents stayed outside for a little longer talking
He led her inside. "You know I love you, right?" He asked her
She looked up at him and nodded," Yes I know that." She said softly
