Noelle nodded just a little and then moved so he could get up. she held on tightly to his hand though not wanting him to be far from her

He got up and stood next to her, still holding her hand. He wondered how he would have to explain this to her parents.
Her eyes started to flutter shut from everything that was happening to her. As she did they were starting to move her out the door

He held her hand as the walked out. "I'm going with her to the next room. They let me." He said quickly to her parents.
Josh nodded, "alright we will be back to see her later then." He trusted Reese to take care of Noelle
Reese nodded and walked with her to the room, squeezing her hand gently and kissing her forehead.

They brought her in the room and hooked her up to everything and started doing tests, Reese continuously holding her hand through the whole thing.
She was sort of asleep as they hook her up to the machine again. Noelle moaned a few times as the nurses ran the tests. They still have a very hard time finding places were there weren't too many bruises in her skin
He looked up at them. "Can you numb her, so you can run the tests?" He asked them. He just wanted things to be better.
One of t he nurses looked at him and shook her head, "I wish we could, but with everything that has happened to her body, she might not be able to wake up."
His eyes widened. "Oh god..." He said softly, holding her tightly.
The nurse frowned a little, "I'm sorry." She said softly
"Can she take the pain?" He asked her nervously
The nurse looked at Noelle then back up at Reese, "I think she can, but if it gets too much we will stop."
He nodded and held her, but so they could still reach her body. "I love you." He whispered to her quietly
The nurses finished why they were doing quickly as they could
"It'll be okay, I promise." He said quietly. He didn't want her to go through this pain anymore.
Noelle relaxed in his arms again since the nurses had stopped touching her. She sighed softly
He smiled just a little and rubbed her back gently.
She frowned a little but otherwise stayed sleepin
He closed his eyes a little and held her close, wrapping his hand around hers and spinning his ring on her finger, smiling softly.
A few hours later, Noelle woke up in his arms. She smiled a little and didn't move to much mostly because she was too weak and also because she didn't want to wake him if he was sleeping
He has fallen asleep as well, with his hand over hers, holding her tightly to him
She looked up at him a little and smiled. She stayed tucked against him body
He moved a little, holding her tightly, nuzzling the top of her head
She smiled a little more, not really able to believe that he had asked her to marry him.
He started to wake up and smiled a little at her. "Hey." He said softly
"How are you feeling?" He asked groggily.
/she shrugged a little, "I don't really know.' She said
"It's cold in here Reese." she said quietly
He rubbed her arms. "I'll warm you up." He said softly
He smiled and stopped, looking at her hand. "You don't think I jumped to conclusions, do you?" He asked softly.
She tilted her head a little as she looked up at him," Why do you mean?" She asked
"With the proposal... I just wanted to stay with you. But you don't think I jumped to conclusions, right?" He asked her softly.
She shook her head slowly," No I don't think you did." She replied quietly twisting te ring around her finger
She looke up at him," What is it?" She asked
"If we weren't in the situation we were in, where you didn't need me to come with you and stuff, would you have still said yes?" He asked her softly.
She stared at him for a second and nodded," I still would have said yes." She answered softly
She nodded blushing a little bit
He smiled and kissed her. "I love you." He said to her
