He continued to eat as well. He was really hungry and had seconds.

She finished what was on her plate
He nodded and got up, taking her plate.
"I can do that.@ she said watching him
"Nope it's okay." He said quickly, not wanting her to do anything.
She looked at him and sighed sitting back
He went back. "Are you done?" He asked her parents
He smiled and took their plates, then went back for all the leftovers.
Josh watched him and so did Noelle as she sat quietly in her seat
Reese cleaned up the plates. "Did you all like it?" He asked themx
Josh and Grace both nodded," Oh it was very good"
He smiled. "I'm glad. Thank you for letting me stay the night." He said gratefully.
Josh smiled back, "You're welcome."
"Did my mom say when I had to be home?" He asked them, finishing up with the dishes.
Josh shook his head, "No I don't think she did."
"Okay." He said, planning to call her after.
She smiled back stretching a little
He grinned at her. She looked really cute like that.
She blushed a little and walked back up to her room to fix her hair a little better
He chucked softly and finished up, following her.
Josh looked over at Grace, then back at Reese, "Do you mind staying here with Noelle while Grace and I got clear things up with the hospital?" He asked getting up
"No I don't mind at all." He said to them, smiling a little.
"Thank you." Grace said getting up to finish getting dressed to go to the hospital.
"No problem." He said to them, nodding a little.
Josh nodded, "Alright we will be leaving soon then."
Noelle had just finished braiding her hair and was looking for a pair of her basketball shorts she had just happened to steal from Reese.
He waited outside her room and knocked gently.
She opened the door in just her shorts and a tank top not really thinking about all of the cuts and bruises on her arms
He smiled a little at her but then his eyes flicked to all the bruises and cuts and he winced a little. He didn't say anything, and looked down. "My shorts?" He asked with a smile.
She chewed on the inside of her lip and turned away a little to find one of her long sleeved shirts. She blushed a little and nodded," They might be."
He took her hand. "It's okay. I don't mind." He said, for both her arms and the shorts.
She looked at their hands and then back at his face and nodded a little," Well I mind." She said moving away from her and grabbing a shirt
He sighed softly and leaned against the wall on his side. "They're getting better." He observed softly.
She pulled her shirt over her head and nodded ablittle," Yeah these ones are.@ she said softly walking over to him
"What about the other ones?" He asked curiously, following her in her room.
"I don't know I can't exactly see some of them.... But the ones on my stomach still look horrible." She answered
"Can I look?" He asked quietly, wrapping his arms around her.
She chewed on her lip as she nodded slowly
He went to her front and lifted her shirt up gently, just exposing her stomach to look at the scars.
Noelle let her arm hang at her sides. This was when she honestly felt like a broken and tainted girl. No one should think she was beautiful or very cute with the way she looked right then. Just on her stomach was about 15 bruises that pretty much just colored her skin and made it look purple and green with a little bit of angry red lines from the shallow knife marks he had given her
He looked at it and swallowed softly, keeping his breathing calm. He gently moved his hand over the knife marks. "What are those from?" He asked, his voice deep with anger. He couldn't look at her, so she wouldn't see his furious face.
She looked away from him and at the floor as she felt his hand on her stomach. She shivered a little but said," What are what from?" She asked quietly looking at him and then his hand
"These cuts. Where did you get them from?" He asked again, shutting his eyes for a moment.
"Oh... Umm a knife." She said softly trying very hard not to cry
