Grace shook her head," I've got it." Se replied. Noelle smiled a little," This is the only time daddy will let her do anything for him." She explained softly

He chuckled softly. "Okay. I'll help clear
She smiled just a little and shook her head, "No you won't.. When mom cooks daddy clears the table and then I do the dishes."
"Can I help with anything?" He asked them, looking around at her family.
Noelle shrugged a little," You can help me put the dishes away." She said
He nodded, already planning to help with other things.
Her dad had been about to say something when her mom said," Alright you guys can eat now."
He smiled. "Thank you." He said, cutting into it.
She nodded," You're welcome." Noelle and her dad also started to eat
He had a bite. "This is delicious." He said after swallowing
Grace smiled," Thank you," she said
He smiled and nodded politely and continued eating.
((I feel as if we need to skip to somewhere..))
((Yeah how about after when she's washing the dishes? Either maybe her dad could talk with him, like the dad talk, or they could get in a soap fight?))

((Yep!))At the end of dinner Reese felt horrible as he watched her father clear the table. He wanted to help but they wouldn't let him.
Noelle walked into the kitchen with her mom for a little bit as Josh cleared the table just like Noelle had said he would
He got up and started to help clear it, wondering if they would say anything
Josh walks back into the dinning room to see Reese clearing it off," You don't take no for an answer, do you?"
He shook his head. "No sir. Not when I feel useless." He said to him.
Josh nodded just a little," Well I suppose that's a good thing at times."
He nodded. "Yeah, especially with her. I would do anything for her." He said to him honestly.
Josh looked over at Reese," I see that, but I may not know all of what that other boy did to her, but I see the way she trusts you.... Don't break that trust."
He nodded. "Of course I wouldn't sit. I'll do anything to keep her safe, and honestly, just to keep her in general. I love her a lot." He told him.
He watched him for a second before nodding, "I know you love her, but she's my girl before she's yours."
He nodded and looked down a little. "Yessir." He mumbled softly, feeling a bit bad. He just realized how cocky he sounded.
Josh watched him not really frowning but also not really smiling either. "Just don't let me catch you hurting my girl." He muttered picking up a few more things to take to the kitchen. Normally Josh wasn't a mean person or even like how he just was, but he wasn't about to let Noelle get hurt anymore.
He nodded. "Of course. I wouldn't even try hurting her." He said as her father walked away. He sighed softly and walked into the kitchen where Noelle and her mother were
Josh nodded to show he had heard Reese. He put the dishes in the sink and scooted Noelle towards the sink," Your turn sweetheart." Noelle laughed softly," Daddy..."
Reese smiled watching them. He went over to Noelle. "I'll help." He offered, hip bumping her gently.
Noelle looked over at him," I know you will." She replied. Josh chuckled softly," Ellie..." He said just like she had said daddy
Reese smiled a little and started to wash the dishes, accidentally flicking some soap on her.
Noelle threw a towel at Josh as he was walking out of the kitchen with her mom. She turned back to the sink just as Reese flicked soap at her. She giggled softly and threw some right back
"Hey!" He exclaimed, grinning at her. He totally knew where this was going.
She laughed and shrugged a little," You started it." She replied cheekily.
He smiled and flicked more at her, getting her shoulder.
She giggled girlishly and flicked some at him getting his neck
He wiped it off and flicked some at her again, laughing at her
She giggled more and threw some at him
"Hey!!! Not so much!" He said, throwing the same amount at her.
"Ahh.. It wasn't that much." She said still giggling. She scooped up a bunch of soap and threw it at him
He got some in his mouth and sputtered it out, getting some in both his hands then going over and wrapping his arms around her waist and lifting her, spinning her around.
She giggled more watching him try to get the soap out of his mouth. It wasn't until too late she realized that he was coming after her. Noelle squealed when she was lifted off the ground. She giggled more and for the first time didn't react at all to the way he was holding her.. Granted it was a lot different than the way Jack had come after her
He smiled and looked at her to make sure this wasn't bad for her.
She was still giggling. Noelle flicked the last bit of soap she had at his nose
He grinned and laughed, putting her down. "We should start this before the water gets cold." He said to her.
She smiled at him as he put her down," I suppose we should." She said giggling a little as she looked at him. He had some of the soap in his hair
He didn't even notice, and began to do the dishes.
