She nodded, then smiled. "What do I even have to worry about? I mean, I don't even know anything for sure. She could just look eerily like me, who knows." She said to him.He blinked and looked at Noelle for help. He didn't know how to phrase it. "Well... Noelle and I decided to well... I was helping her and we thought... I don't know basically we're together." He blurted out, getting flustered.
"That's true but still if you want to we can see if we can find anything out about your real parents." He said smiling gently at herNoelle hugged him a little knowing her dad was just bluffing, well at least she thought he was. Josh frowned," I don't want to see her hurt again... If you hurt my daughter..." He didn't finish because Grace yanked on his arm," That's enough."
She nodded. "Okay." She said softly, deciding then and there it was time. Especially after her adoptive parents treated her."I won't sir, I promise. I would kill myself before I hurt her." He assured him honestly, and you could tell in his eyes he was telling the truth.
He nodded just a little and kissed her cheek," Let's not worry about it and go have some fun." Josh nodded looking at him for a while," Fine." Grace smiled at Reese knowing hed do whatever it took to keep Noelle safe
"Okay." She said, and grinned brightly at him.He smiled a little, relaxing and kissing her cheek quickly.
He grinned and kissed the corner of her lips softly She blushed a little not expecting that. Grace smiled and pulled Josh away to tell him all that Noelle had told her
She smiled and moved to kiss him gently.He took her hands and squeezed them gently.
He grinned a little more and kissed her softly before pulling away from her a little She smiled back at him faintly," I told my mom everything." She whispered softly
She smiled and kissed his cheek and continued to walk with him.He looked at her. "Everything?" He asked, looking at her stomach.
He grinned at her and walked along through the palace with herShe nodded slowly," Everything." She said softly
The rest of it was so beautiful as well, and she looked at him when they left. "Where to now?" She asked him curiously.He nodded and hugged her gently.
He nodded in agreement with her," Umm.. Not sure lets just walk around and see what there is." She smiled a little and hugged him
"Okay. Maybe see Big Ben? I think it's nearby." She said to him.He smiled back at her.
He nodded," Yeah we can do that." He answered
She smiled and then rested her head on his shoulder
"Okay." She said happily, walking with him.He smiled at her a little.
He kissed her head softy as they walkedShe sighed a little," You know my mom is probably telling my dad now."
She grinned at him and squeezed his hand happily.He nodded. "Do you think he'll be mad?" He asked did you.
He chuckled softly and walked along with her making sure she could keep up with him.She shrugged a little," He might be." She whispered... Then added a little later," But not at you."
She had to walk a bit quicker because his strides were a lot longer, but she didn't mind.He nodded. "I don't think he'll be mad at you either." He said to her
He watched her a little," Do I need to slow down?" He askedShe nodded," He's just going to want to beat Jacks face in." Sure enough a just after she said that you could hear Josh say," I want to know where that kid is."
"No, it's okay. I can keep up." She said to him, smiling at him.He looked over. "Can I help?" He offered, loud enough so her parents could hear him. He already got one chance, but it wasn't enough/
" alright just let me know if I'm walking too fast." He replied looked over at herJosh walked back into the kitchen, yes he was furious. He looked at Reese for a second," if he's not already in jail then sure." Grace followed him frowning," That's not going to help the situation " she muttered. He shrugged," But it will help me."
She nodded and smiled. "Okay." She said to him, lacing her fingers through his.He smiled a little. "He should either be at home or at the police station. I called and told them." He said to Josh.
He grinned at her squeezing her hand gently in his. He was enjoying himself a lot with her around.She frowned a little but stayed quiet. Grace shook her head and leaned against the counter. Josh nodded," If he's at home that would be better for us, but not for Noelle.. If he's at the police station they won't let us near him."
She looked up at him. "I love being with you." She said to him softly.He nodded. "Yeah. Should we check his house first?" He asked. "Maybe they're keeping him there until the trial." He suggested.
He looked down at her and gently tugged her closer," I love being with you too." He said softly Noelle sighed softly still tucked against Reese. Grace looked at the two," You both should stop and think for a second... Where will beating Jack up get you?" Josh looked over at his wife ad frowned
She blushed a little and smiled. "Really?" She asked him softly.He looked at her, making a face. She had a point, but he really wanted to beat him up, again
He grinned at her and nodded, "Yes really." He told her .Grace continued to stare at Josh. He sighed softly, "Fine, but if I see him anywhere.... I'm going to hit him." Noelle frowned slightly but said nothing.
She blushed and smiled. "Well, I'm glad. I thought I annoyed everyone I talked to." She admitted softly. Well, besides Shelby, she was the only person who liked Rose's company.Reese nodded in agreement, wrapping his arm around Noelle's waist gently and holding her close to him.
Quinn looked down at her and frowned just a little, "Honey I don't think you could annoy me if you tried." HE muttered teasingly.Noelle turned her bright green eyes up to his face, then back to her dad as he spoke. "I'm going to unpack the car." He muttered before leaving the room
"Is that a challenge?" She asked with a small smirk, looking up at him. Her heart fluttered everytime he called her that.He let go of her. "I'll help." He offered, going out with her father.
He smirked a little, "Sure it is." He answered looking over at her .Josh looked back at Reese and nodded, "Alright then." He answered opening the front door.
She smiled and thought about it. "I don't want to go to Big Ben!!!! I wanna go homeeeeee!!!" She whined, stomping her foot like a child.He walked out with him and went to help empty their car.
Quinn stopped at looked at her for a second, "First off I know that is a lie.... and you sound like my little cousin."Josh unlocked the car and opened the trunk. Grace and Noelle moved to the living room
She blushed. "Fine. I'll figure something out." She said to him.He went and helped take in the heavier stuff
He laughed at her a little, "Alright fine... come on and let's go so your excitement isn't wasted." He said still teasing her.Josh took other things in and held the door open
She stuck her tongue out at him and grinned.He thanked him and walked through the door.
He laughed some more at her taking her handJosh nodded," No problem."
She smiled and walked happily with him.He walked in and brought it where they needed it to go.
He grinned at herNoelle turned a little to watch him
She grinned back at him.He didn't notice, but his arm muscles looked really good as he carried things in.
He walked along with her happily looking at the different things thu were walking by.Noelle and her mother noticed just a little. Grace turned to her daughter and said something that made Noelle blush
"This city, in general is so amazing." She said softly to him.He looked over at Noelle and smiled at her.
He nodded in agreement," Yeah it really is." He answered softlyShe smiled back still blushing from what her mom had said
"I couldn't be happier." She said softly.He raised his eyebrows, wondering why she was so pink in the cheeks.
He smiled at her," I don't think this trip could have come at a better time." He said softlyShe turned back to her mom after giving him a look that said shed explain later
"I certainly agree. Well, I mean I never wanted Shelby to die, but honestly she couldn't have at a better time." She said softly, smiling at him.He nodded and continued helping.
He nodde just a little," Yeah I know.. I just wish she were still alive so she could just say I told you so." He murmured softly She talked with her mom for a bit waiting for him and her dad to be done
She looked over at her dad," Not now daddy." She whispered. Josh glanced over at his daughter, Grace put her hand on his arm, but josh didn't stop," Go on." He said not really in a mean voice. He was now just trying to protect Noelle from everything.
