"Oh..." She said, not sure if he was telling her they could still hang out or if he was leaving. She got up as well.He nodded. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I put you in this spot. I just don't want to see you get hurt." He said softly, looking down at her.
"I don't have to leave unless you do." He said watching as she got up. Honestly this was better than him sitting at home on his day off."It's okay." She said softly looking up at him," I wanted you to tell me.. And I still would... I just don't know what to do now." She whispered pressing closer to him
"Um, no I don't have to. What else do you suggest we do?" She asked him quietly, biting her lip gently.He nodded, holding her tightly but gently. "Okay. Take your time to think about it." He assured her, liking how close she was to him.
He shrugged a little," Umm I don't really know." He answered looking at her. "We could.. Just go walk around the park since it's nice out." She nodded a little," Okay." She said softly." But what if Jack finds out that you know what happens when I'm with him?"
She nodded. "Okay then." She said, smiling a little at him. Maybe she could get to know him better now, discover the guy she's travelling with.He looked down. "I don't know. But whatever happens, I won't let him hurt you." He said firmly, looking at her eyes.
He smiled a little at her," Alright then.. Let's go." He answered. Walking to the door with herShe nodded a little," But he's coming over later I think." She said softly staying close to him
She nodded and walked out, holding the door open for him. She was so used to holding it for all the old people.He sighed sadly. "Okay. Do you want me to stay or go?" He asked softly, stroking her hair gently.
He grinned a little and walked out the door," I'm assuming that holding doors is part of your job," he said waiting for her outside. "Can you stay?" She asked looking up at him, "Maybe then nothing will happen." She murmured.
She smiled closing the door. "Yeah it kinda is. I'm so used to it." She said to him shyly, stuffing her hands in her pockets and walking with him.He nodded. "Of course." He said to her softly. His lips brushed over her forehead. "I don't ever want him hurting you again." He whispered gently.
He smiled a little as he walked with her," I can tell." He answered. "It's better than what I do." He said looking over at her. She nodded a little," okay, but you can't keep me from him all the time." She whispered snuggling close to him
"What do you do?" She asked him curiously, looking up at him. He was significantly taller then her, and she liked it.He nodded. "I know, but I'll try." He said, holding her close, loving what he was feeling with her right now/
"I work at a physical therapist's office." He said looking down at her. " it's alright most of the time." She sighed a little letting her body relax against his. She liked the way he was holding her.
She smiled a little. "So do you like help people with the therapy, or just at the front desk?" She asked him curiously.He looked down at her. "Can... Can I see all the bruises?" He asked quietly, biting his lip a little. He wanted to see everywhere Jake hurt her, so he knew how much to kill him.
"Yeah I do help them a little." He answered,"What all do you do where you work?" He asked. He wanted to get to know her a little more
Noelle looked up at him a little surprised," Well I don't know if that's a good idea," she said quietly pulling the sleeves of her shirt back down over her wrists
"Well, I get them food and feed them if I need to. I play games with them, and just talk to them if they want someone to talk to." She explained to him.He nodded. "I understand." He said to her, smiling a little and rubbing her arm gently. "If you don't want to show me you don't have to." He told her honestly
He nodded a little," That sounds like fun." He said," My grandma really did like it when someone would stay and talk to her." He said softlyShe nodded," Maybe later." Noelle commented softly looking up at him and enjoying the way he was with her
She smiled softly. "Yeah. We would always talk for hours. Sometimes I left an hour after my shift was over because we were talking." She told him quietly.He nodded and hugged her gently, nuzzling her neck gently. He loved how she was almost his now, he would never lose her.
He smiled," Yeah that's my grandma for you." He answered," She always had a great story to tell no matter what." She giggled a little as he hugged her. It wasn't very often that she actually laughed anymore.
She nodded and smiled. "She would talk about you sometimes. She told me stories from when you were a kid." She said happily.He smiled and looked at her, biting his lip. "C-can I kiss you?" He asked, his eyes wide and hoping. He looked at her lips then back at her eyes.
He looked over at her," She talked about me?" He asked," What did she tell you about me?" He asked turning to walk in front of her but was walking backwards She stared at him for a second kind of in shock before nodding just a little. She was a little speechless at the moment
She smiled at him. "Just stuff. About when you were a kid and things like that." She said, not telling him everything, and just giggling.He smiled lovingly at her, brushing her hair away from her face, his hand resting on her cheek. He leaned in and gently kissed her.
"Telling you about my childhood is not nothing.... Please tell me." He said looking at her, as she laughed.She smiled a little at how gentle he was with her. She kept her hands in her lap as he gently kissed her. At first she wasn't sure what to do, but after about a second she kissed him softly just as her phone started ringing with Jack's ringtone
"She told me things about when you were a kid and how cute you were." She said, grinning at him brightly.

"Well what do you want to know about me?" She asked him curiously, looking up at him and smiling. He was pretty cute, she noticed. But she wouldn't say anything about it.He nodded and sat there quietly, listening to the conversation slightly and rubbing her lower back gently.
He sighed a little," I want to know one like one of the ones my grandma told you." He answeredShe talked softly to Jack keeping her voice even though her body was shaking even with Reese rubbing her back
"Umm... Well I love writing and reading, I want to travel, and I live alone." She said simply, feeling like that was a good place to start.He held her tightly, rubbing her back gently as she talked to him. He could feel her fear and felt horrible, wishing she didn't feel that.

She looked at him, eyes wide. "You read? I mean, you like to read?" She asked him softly. She had never been able to find a guy who liked reading anymore.He made a face, getting angry. He held his hand out. "Give me the phone." He said sternly but quietly. He was gonna give Jack a piece of his mind.
He looked over at her, "Yes I do...Why?" He asked kind of surprised by her reaction.She looked over at him, her eyes a little wider than normal and she was pale. "Okay." She whispered starting to hand her phone over to him, then pulled it back, " Don't get me in trouble with him."
She grinned. "Oh my god. I have never, ever, met a guy who said he likes books and actually meant it. They've said it, but only to get in my pants." She said to him happily, not really sure why she told him the last part.He took the phone. "Hey Jack, just letting you know everything is fine here, I'm chilling with Noelle for a little. So if you wanna stop by tomorrow, that's cool, but tonight she's busy." He said to him, trying to sound nice.
He stared at her for a second, "Okay first off, I really do mean I like to read and second those guys are just low, but also stupid, they don't know what they are missing." He muttered as they walked.She watched him hoping that tomorrow she wouldn't have to see Jack at all. "Fine" Jack huffed, "Tell her that tomorrow I'm taking her out for a nice date." He said talking like his normal self
She smiled at him, looking up at him. "What do you mean they don't know what they're missing?" She asked curiously, kicking a rock as she came up to it."Okay." Reese said, and hung up. He tossed her phone on the other couch. "Apparently he's taking you somewhere nice tomorrow." He said to her softly.
He grinned at her for a second, "Well first they don't know how a book can take you to another world.... Or that girls who like to read are adorable." He stated looking over at her after putting his hands in his pockets.Noelle looked up at him from where she was huddled against his shoulder. She frowned a little, "That doesn't mean anything now." she murmured
Rose smiled a little and blushed softly. "You're very right about the first part. But, you really think so for the second thing?" She asked him softly, looking down then up.He sighed softly, holding her close. "Is he really taking you somewhere nice? Or somewhere completely not?" He asked sadly, rubbing her arm gently.
Quinn looked at her for a second, "I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true." He said looking out over the pond for a bit before looking at her.She hugged him a little, "It's not going to be anywhere nice." she said softly as he held her
She smiled a little to herself. "Well, is there anything else you want to know?" She asked him curiously, walking over to a bench by the pond.He sighed. "Do you want me to come? Like, not with you guys exactly but be there in the background, where he won't notice me?" He asked her softly.
He followed after her and sat down on the bench stretching out a little, "Umm... Tell me one of your favorite childhood memories." She shrugged a little, "It's not like we will be going anywhere.... He's just going to come over here."
"Hmm..." She said, thinking hard about it. "Well, I remember one time my mom took me to a carnival, and I won this notebook from one of the booths and tried to write about the day, but I could barely spell." She said, smiling a little at him.He nodded. "Okay. Well, if you need me wherever you are, just call me okay?" He asked her softly, running his hands through her hair.
He smiled a little as he listened to her, " Sounds like you should write a book or something. "He said looking over at her,She nodded, "I will.... if I can." She answered, closing her eyes a little
"I'm trying to, trust me. I've been trying for years." She told him honestly, smiling a little back at him. She watched as some birds flew by.He nodded and kissed her temple gently. "Have some rest. I'll be here for you." He said quietly, drawing patterns on her back softly.
He leaned back on the bench, "Maybe out little trip to Europe will help you with that,: He said looking over the pond and watching some little kids feed the fish.She looked up at him, "Promise you won't leave?" She asked holding onto the front of his shirt.
She smiled brightly. "I certainly hope so." She said happily to him. She wondered all of the things this trip would bring for the two of them.He looked down at her eyes. "I will never ever leave you, I promise." He said to her softly, kissing her lips gently.
He smiled a little," I'm sure it will... Maybe I could help you.. I mean if you want me to." He said blushing a little at how forward he was being with herNoelle nodded slightly and smiled a bit," Alright." She only got to say that one word before his mouth was on hers. She gently kissed him back still clinging to his shirt front
She saw his blush and grinned. "I'm sure you can help." She said to him honestly, bumping his shoulder with hers gently.He smiled and kissed her more, his arms around her back. He loved the way she held onto his shirt, it made him feel amazing.
He chuckled softly " Well as long as you think so." He stated quietly pushing her gently back with his shoulder.She sighed softly against his mouth wrapping her other arm around his neck a little. She didn't know that this was how it was supposed to be when you were kissed by someone who really loved you
She nodded slowly," Oh." Was all she said. Noelle looked back at him," Reese... I don't know how I really feel about you... I'm just so confused right now." She said wrapping her small arms around him
