"N-no..." She said softly, wondering if he remembered that she was gonna tell him something."I know so." He said to her quietly, smiling at her.
He raised his eyebrow a little," what?" He asked her.
"Nothing... I mean there is something, but I don't know how to say it." She said softly, not looking him in the eye.He kissed her lips gently. "Don't worry." He whispered softly.
He looked over at her," Well just tell me." He stated. "I'm sure it's not that bad." He addedShe smiled just a little," I'll try not to."
"Well... I think Shelby put us together for a reason, and that reason is starting to get to me. Basically... I'm saying I'm starting to like you, maybe more then a friend." She told him softly, biting her lip and looking down.
"I'll be here the whole time." He said softly.
Quinn listened to her as she spoke," I know what you mean." He said quietly," because I was thinking the same thing." She nodded a little," promise?" She asked softly

She looked up at him. "What?" She asked softly, thinking she heard wrong.He nodded and smiled softly. "I promise." He said to her.

He looks over at her," I am starting to like you too." He answered softlyShe nodded a little
"Wait... But... I didn't think you were. I thought you saw me as just a friend." She said quietly, sitting up a little.He smiled softly. "So... The nurse told me your body is trying to keep the baby alive." He told her.
"How did you think that?" He asked looking up at her. As he was still laying on his back She frowned," But I thought you said that I lost it?"
She shrugged. "I don't know, things just seemed kinda casual between us, and that nightmare I had on the plane... In it you told me you didn't like me." She said sadly, biting her lip."That's what I thought, but the nurse said you're trying to keep it alive." He told her.
He frowned a little," well I wasn't trying to but I also isn't want you to feel like I was forcing you into something.... It was just a dream Rose." He said She nodded a little," oh... Did they move me?" She asked looking around the room and not remembering what happened earlier
"Oh.... Well... What now then?" She asked him softly, looking over at him and laying back down.He nodded. "Yeah. You went unconscious and they had to move you." He said to her.
He shrugged a little," I don't know." He said yawning a little and laying on his back again.She nodded a little," Oh."
"Well... Go to sleep. You look tired." She said to him softly. This isn't how she imagined things."You're actually in the ER." He said softly.
"I will.. But you still look troubled." He answered looking over at her She frowned a little," I am?" She asked softly
She shrugged. "I don't know. I just expected things to go differently." She said to him. She had read a lot of romance books and not once had it been so casual. Maybe they were just stories.He nodded a little. "Yeah. Things weren't doing so well." He told her.
He looked over at her," What do you mean?" He asked. He wasn't much of a romantic and didn't know what she was thinking ofNoelle looked up at him," Really?" She asked softly
She shook her head and laid down, not facing him. "Never mind. Don't worry about it." She said softly, feeling so embarrassed."Yeah. But they said you should make full recovery." He told her.
He rolled over to look at her and frowned when he saw she was facing away from him. Quinn reached out and gently touched her shoulder, "Did I do something wrong?" He asked sitting up a little She nodded," Well that's good." She said softly and looked at the door when there was a knock
His touch made her feel amazing, but she wouldn't look at him. "No... It's just me. I'm over thinking everything." She said to him softly.He nodded, then went and got the door when someone knocked.
He sighed a little," Are you sure?" He asked softly moving a little closer to her.She watched him. Two police officers were standing at the door," Hello we are looking for Noelle Clare."
She felt him moving closer. "Please... It's fine. Don't worry about me." She said, looking back at him a little.Reese moved out of the way and let them in.
He looked at her and nodding a bit," Well alright." He answered still not sure if he believed her The two walked into the room," we have a few questions for you." They told Noelle. She looked at them with huge green eyes then she looked at Reese
She couldn't help it, and rolled over and cuddled into him gently. "Sorry." She mumbled, not moving though.Reese looked at her and nodded, showing her it would be okay.
He watched her and our his arms around her small body," don't be" he answered softly.She looked back at the officers," okay." She answered starting to sit up better. They nodded," I'm officer Kelley and that's my partner, Jake." One of them said," We just want to know a few things about who did this to you."
She nodded, her face in his chest, gripping his shirt gently. She felt so good in his arms.Reese went and sat next to her, taking her hand gently. He would help her as much as she needed him to.
He held her tight and snuggled close to her. He was thinking of how she just seemed to fit in his arms.Noelle looked over at him, then at the two police. Officer Kelley looked back, "How long has this been going on?" She asked softly. Noelle frowned a little, "I...... I'm not sure."
She closed her eyes and slowly started falling asleep, inhaling his scent every time she breathed.He looked at her, wondering if she did know and she just wouldn't tell them.
He slowly fell asleep with her in his arms.She sighed a little. Kelley nodded, "Alright then, what is his name?" She asked, "It's Jack Fields."
She fell asleep, and started to dream of the two of them, just smiling.((Skip))
Reese winced, squeezing her hand a little when he heard his name. He wanted to kill him so badly.
He stayed cuddled against her all night long. He groaned a little when the sun started shining on his face.Kelley nodded a little," I'm sorry we just had to make sure we had the right person."
Her face was in his chest so she didn't feel anything, and was snoring softly against him.He nodded and kept listening.
He opened his eyes and looked down at her. He smiled just a little seeing she was still sleeping against him,She sighed a little," What else do you need to know?" She asked.. Kelley looked down at her paper and asked a few more questions
She was starting to wake up, completely forgetting where she was and who she was with for a moment. She groaned as she stretched, hitting him in the face.He looked over at Noelle then at the police officers.
He groaned softly after she hit him, but only moved a little away from her. Now he was fully awake. She sighed as the two others got up," Noelle you may need to come to court to testify." Kelley told her. Noelle nodded slowly," O...okay."
She opened her eyes and saw him. "Oh my god!!! I'm so sorry!!!" She said, sitting up and looking at his face.He looked at her. "Don't worry. I'll come too." He murmured softly.
He looked back down at her," It's fine... I'm alright." He answered rolling onto his back.Noelle nodded a little," Okay."
"I feel so bad, let me get some ice." She said, going to get out of the bed, but got her legs stuck in the sheets and fell face first on the ground.
He looked at her as she started to get out of the bed. Once she fell he got up and went around to her side," Rose?" Are you alright?" He asked kneeling next to her and gently picking her up.She smiled weakly at him as the police left the room
"Ow..." She said softly, rubbing the side of her face. It was red, and exactly what she landed on. Thankfully there was a carpet there. She couldn't believe he picked her up.He smiled at her too. "Don't worry." He murmured again.
He looked at her," I bet," he answered trying not to smile. It was kind of funny but he didn't want to laugh.She smiled at him,
She looked at him and knew he was trying not to laugh. "Shut up." She said, hitting his chest gently."So, are you nervous?" He asked softly.
He shook his head," What was that for?" He asked," I didn't do anything." "About what?" She questioned softly
"I saw you trying not to laugh." She said to him, smiling softly."The trail." He said to her.
"I wasn't," he answered smiling just a little She nodded slowly
"Well if you think so." She softly replied holding his hand
