She showed them to him. "Okay... So our hotel is like a ten minute walk from here." She said to him, not really wanting to walk but she didn't know what else to do.He went over to the bed and started crying more, taking her hand gently. He just wanted her to be okay.
He looked down at the papers in her hands. He nodded a little, "Well I guess we should start walking." He said softly not really wanting to but seeing no other options.Noelle opened her eyes a little and looked at him.
She nodded and started to walk, struggling to carry all of her things. She wanted to get there as quickly as possible.He didn't know she was awake, and kept crying. "I'm so sorry... I wish I could help." He said sadly.
He looked over at her, "Do you need help?" He asked seeing how she was struggling.She sighed softly, "reese?" she asked very softly
She looked at him. "No it's fine... You have your own stuff to take care of." She said to him softly.He looked at her. "Yeah?" He said, surprised she was awake.
"I can still help you." He answered honestly. "What happened?" She asked softly.
She bit her lip a little. "If you're sure." She said softly, stopping and looking up at him.He looked down then back up at her. "Well, they took an X-ray and did a bunch of tests, you're in bad condition." He told her softly.
He nodded," Yes I am." He answered stopping to look at her," Besides then you can direct us better." He said smiling at her.She nodded slowly," Reese.. What's going to happen?" She asked in a very small voice
"Okay... Thank you. I can carry some of them though." She told him, smiling a little at him.He shrugged, feeling awful. "I don't know. But it's gonna be okay, I promise. No matter what." He said to her.
"It's not a problem." He answered taking some of her things."Your not telling me something." She said softly looking up at him
She smiled and led them to the hotel. Finally they arrived. It was actually really fancy. "Wow." She said softly.He didn't say anything, and looked down sadly.
He stared at the place they were staying at," Um is this the right spot?" He asked softly. He knew that his grandmother was well off but not something like this.She stared at him with huge green eyes," Am I dying?" She asked softly. With everything that had happened she felt like she was
She looked at the paper. "I guess so. Let me check at the desk." She said. She went over and asked for bookings under Shelby's name. And it was there too, and the receptionist gave her the room key.He looked at her and shook his head quickly. "No! No, it's something else." He said sadly.
He nodded a little and walked after her. He saw his grandmothers name and looked over at Rose once she had the key," It's only one room." He stated. She sighed softly," then what?" She asked weakly pulling on his hand
She blushed a little. "Well, maybe there's two beds." She said to him. "I guess we'll find out." She said, walking over to the elevator with him.He sighed. "The doctor told me... You were pregnant with a baby, only for a while, but after all this it died." He said to her sadly, holding her hand and ready to comfort her.
He shrugged," Knowing my grandmother she made sure there wasn't," he told her, as he walking to the elevators. Tears sprang to her eyes as she listened to him," He killed it?" She whispered slowly bringing her free hand to her stomach
"Really?" She asked him softly, opening the elevator and walking in, helping him with the stuff.He nodded. "I'm so sorry, but it's probably for better. Now you don't need to worry... But I'm so sorry." He said sadly, putting his hand over her free one.
He nodded," Yeah.. I'm surprised you have never had this happen until now with how close you were to her." He answered then blushed at how that sounded," That didn't sound the way I wanted it too." She was still tearing up," Maybe.. " she said softly. Noelle frowned a little now understanding why she hadn't been feeling well the last few weeks
She looked at him. "Wait, what did you mean?" She asked him curiously, trying to comprehend what he said. Did he mean he was surprised she wasn't with any other guys?He looked at her. "Please don't worry about it. It'll be okay. I promise." He told her honestly.
He looked over at her still kind of blushing," What I meant to say was I'm surprised she only set you up with me." He answered. Not that he wasn't grateful for it She nodded slowly and her eyes shut and a machine started beeping like crazy. A nurse rushed in not saying anything to Reese and pushed a button to call the doctor into the room
She bit her lip softly and smiled, so happy he was the only one. "So you think she's setting us up?" She asked him softly, wondering what his thoughts were as they came up to their floor."What's happening? Is she okay?!" He asked the nurse nervously, dropping her hand and getting out of the way.
He looked over at her and nodded," Well yeah I do.. What did you think she was doing with us?" He asked. He was glad that she hadn't been set up with anyone but him. It gave him a better chance. The nurse shook her head a little," I'm not sure... She's been bleeding a lot." She answered trying everything she could to get Noelle stable again. The doctor rushed in and another nurse shooed Reese out of the room
She shrugged walking to their room. "I don't know. Sending us both casually on a trip to Europe because we both wanted to go?" She suggested jokingly.He was pushed out and sat on the floor in the hallway, just listening and crying and waiting.
Quinn laughed a little grabbing their stuff and putting it by the door so she could unlock it," Yeah right.. I'm pretty sure that she wanted to see the two of us get married before she died so she could tell us I told you so." The doctor came out a little later frowning and rushed off down the hall. The nurses wheeled Noelle out of that room and pushed her down at hall to an OR
She blushed and looked at him from the corner of her eye, smiling. She wondered if he was hinting at things, that he wanted to be in a relationship. She unlocked the door and walked in. It was a small room, and with one queen sized bed like he guessed.
He got up and followed them down anxiously, almost running into three different people. He could barely see.
He glanced over at her as she opened the door. While it was true that he really didn't pretend to be someone he wasn't with her, he didn't really think before he spoke. Though being in a relationship with her would be fun and it was something he wanted. He looked into the room," I knew it." He muttered The door shut him out of the operating room. The doctors and nurses were all preparing to do whatever was necessary to save Noelle's life
"Well. This is nice." She said honestly, putting her things down and walking around. They had a nice view, the only flaw was the bed.He waited some more, just wanting to go in and help, or someone come out and telling him what was happening.
" yeah it is." He answered getting all of their bags through the door and onto the one bed they had," There's not even another place to sleep." He muttered softly though he was looking around at everything A few hours later the doctor came back out and looked at Reese," You can go and see her now." He said softly.
"She planned this well..." She said, standing on the other side of the bed and looking up at him. She couldn't believe it, she would be in the same bed as him. Just the thought made her want to sleep, and she was tired because of jet lag.He nodded and ran in the room, going over to her. "Are you okay?" He asked softly, taking her hand gently.
He nodded," yeah she did." He answered looking down at her. Just standing by the bed made him want to collapse in it. He looked across at her," She doesn't have us doing anything tonight right?" He asked Noelle was still unconscious from the anesthesia they had given her. One nurse was still fixing her up and checking down below to make sure she wasn't bleeding too much anymore. The nurse softly replied," She going to be here for a long while."
She looked at the papers and shook her head. "No. Tonight's free. Some things for tomorrow. I guess we could do what we want tonight, but I'm kinda tired." She admitted softly, smiling a little at him.He looked at the nurse and nodded. "I figured... I wish I protected her more." He thought out loud, sitting next to Noelle and taking her hand again gently.

He nodded a little," She is a very smart woman..... Is it bad that I just want to jump into the bed like a kid and sleep for two days?" He asked her grinning a little "Its going to be longer than you think now." She told him softly," The doctor was supposed to tell you but I guess he didnt." Thighs he had yet to tell him what was happening to Noelle
She laughed. "No because I want to too. The jet lag sucks." She said to him, smiling brightly at him.He looked at her. "Why? What's so bad?" He asked nervously.
He chuckled a bit," well then we have what we are going to do for the rest of the day." He stared.The nurse looked at him and then at the unconscious Noelle," her body is fighting to keep her and another life alive." She answered
She giggled, then flopped on the bed. "Join me!" She said happily.He nodded. "Alright... Is there anything you can do?" He asked her nervously.
He chuckled and jumped into the bed next to her," Gladly." He said looking down at her The nurse shook her head a little," Not right now... She too weak for us to help too much." She answered
She rolled on her side and looked at him, smiling softly.He looked at Noelle then back at the nurse. "Do you think she'll be okay?" He asked her.
He turned his head slightly to look at her and grinned. The nurse nodded," Most girls who have been through what she has will have given up... But do you see how she is breathing on her own... She is fighting for something if it just because she wants to live or if she's fighting to see her baby then.. She will be fine."
She got under the warm covers. "I have a feeling that every hotel we go to will only have one bed." She said to him.He nodded and looked at Noelle in the bed. He hoped she got through this.
He looked over at her and nodded," I'm sure you are right." He answered kicking off his shoes and getting under the covers with her
She smiled and yawned. "Yeah. Well, goodnight." She murmured, closing her eyes.
He smiled at her," Good night." He said letting his eyes closeNoelles eyes slowly opened as the nurse walked out
She moved a little closer, but not much so he wouldn't notice.
He looked at her and smiled a little. "Hey." He said softly.
He opened his eyes a little as he heard her moving. However this was a different situation than before when they were on the plane.Noelle smiled a little," Hi."
She didn't know he saw her, and was blushing a little. "How are you feeling?" He asked softly.
He just smiled a bit at her "You can get closer... I don't mind." He told her softly. "I feel awful," she answered honestly
She opened her eyes. "Oh... I... I didn't know." She said awkwardly, biting her lip a little.He took her hand. "You're gonna be okay." He said softly.
The doctor nodded a little. Noelle was laying in the bed soft of a sleep. they had her hooked up to an IV. She was very weak.
