Recent Reads -- Uncle John's Bathroom Reader: Attack of the Factoids

This is not highbrow stuff, OK? It's not even much of a book. It is, as the title indicates, a collection of factoids, those useless bits of trivia that can be so fascinating.

I'll admit here that I unreservedly love all Uncle John's books. They really are perfect for bathroom reading. You can pick them up, read a couple of pages or a couple dozen, and walk away with a little more of an edge in Trivial Pursuit, and no need for commitment to a heavy volume.

This was, as many of my ebooks are, a freebie from Netgalley.com. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This provided many sessions of enjoyable reading -- and not always in the most obvious place.
