Hi Jenny, Thanks so much for starting this thread. Welcome to all our new members! We're glad you've joined us and we look forward to getting to know you :) And, a big thank you to Jenny for helping me get the group up and running.
Hello, Everyone!A big thank you to Jenny and Narelle for getting this group started.
I'm Rose Ross Zediker. I live in rural South Dakota. I've been writing since 1991. I started my writing career in the Christian children's genre and found much success with short stories, devotions and non-fiction in the magazine markets.
Once our son went to college and I had more time to devote to my writing, I started writing inspirational romances. My first book was published in 2010. Since that time I have five published Heartsongs, with five more on the way!
I look forward to getting to know our readers!

Hi, I'm Judy from Arizona. I probably will not be very active has I have several irons in the fire. I've read a couple hundred Heartsongs and the Barbour novellas as well. Nice easy reads.
Hi, I'm Kathy and I'm from the great state of Minnesota. I work as a Resident assistant at a substance abuse halfway house. I do write Christian romances as well as mysteries though I'm not published in those fields. I did self publish a memoir a few years ago. I've been reading Heartsong Presents since I was a lot younger. When I am not working or writing, I look after three of my seven grandchildren or I sleep. :)
Welcome Kathy and Judy, I know Narelle has plans for the group and hopes that when we get going to introduce the authors of the books of the month to us. Its in the teething stages but I am sure it will come like LIH eventually and a place to find out about the LIHP authors and books.

I've just realized I haven't introduced myself. I live in Canberra, Australia. That's why you'll see me online at odd hours. It's 8pm Monday night here. I spent today in the mountains, out of phone and internet range, enjoying the Canberra Day holiday weekend. I've also scared a few of my Facebook friends tonight by posting a close up pic of a docile red belly black snake we spotted today.
I have four Heartsong books releasing this year, and two scheduled for 2015. My books are contemporary romances set in Australia.
I'm working on organizing the group and getting everything up and running. Thanks for your patience as we set everything up.
Hi, my name is June and I'm a Heartsong Presents'aholic'. My introduction to Heartsong in 1998 is what turned me onto a 95% Christian reading journey. I do still have some favorite 'other' authors but not many :) To prove I'm a 'holic' I actually OWN every Heartsong printed along with many of the novellas that were put out along with them. In my spare time (haha) I'm the mother of nine (all still at home). If we aren't working on school of one sort or another, my nose is most likely in a book!!! Looking forward to meeting other fans of this great line of books!!!
Hello! I'm Valri and I live in Oregon. I have 3 adult children and one adorable grandchild! Once my "baby" graduates college next month and my oldest graduates grad school the following month, we will finally have no one kids in college - hooray! It's been a long 11 year journey!

Before I wrote them, I read them too. For being a shorter word count book, they are still a satisfying read.

Hi June, Wow, I think we're nearly up to 1100 Heartsong books in the line. You must have a large number of bookshelves or a lot of storage space :) Back in the 1970's and 80's, my grandmother was an avid reader and bought a dozen Harlequin books every month. She loaned the books to her best friend, her sister, and her daughter (my aunt) before storing them in boxes. Those boxes drove my grandfather crazy!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to find this group. Love the Heartsong Presents line.
Narelle, it's nice to have those college expenses almost "done" except that the loans live on as far as repayment! However, my kids will pay them back themselves so that's their problem! It is nice to know that there will be no NEW expenses though! Now they have to actually FIND a job. Thankfully, my middle child found a job right after college 3 years ago, now the other two have to do the same!

Valri, I hope your eldest and youngest will find jobs as soon as they finish college. It's good you won't have any new college expenses.
I am Susan Manchester, voracious reader of Christian fiction books. I belong to the Heartsongs book club, so I have hundreds of the books. I also belong to the Love Inspired Suspense book club, because suspense is my favorite genre. I am raising and homeschooling my 10-year old special needs adopted grandson, and I love all the learning we are doing. I also am trying to keep up with the three adult children who stayed with me until they were grown. They are spread all over the country at this point. I have six grandchildren: two boys age 15 and 13 from my second son, a boy age 3 and a girl age 7 from my youngest son and twins, girl Asha and boy Kiran, age 3, from my third son. I live in Florida, where it is starting to get hot. I am starting over on the cycle of wishing I lived in Alaska! Thank you, Narelle, for inviting me to this group!
Hi Susan, We're glad you've joined us :) The weather in my part of the world (Australia) still feels like summer, and the colder weather will reappear sometime during April if not earlier.
Welcome Susan, not sure I could ever really want to live in Alaska but would love to visit in the summer.
I'm from the UK and have read a lot, & own several Heartsong Presents books ~ nowhere near as many Judy though!I'm also a fan of the Love Inspired lines, but I came across those much later. My local Christian bookshop used to sell a lot of Heartsong Presents, which is how I came across them, but didn't stock Love Inspired unfortunately.
I enjoy contemporary, historical and suspense. And I absolutely love reading!
The thing I love about LI & HP is that they are faith filled, but also light reading so when you just want some light & easy it's one of those I head for. I also like that they are small & fit into a bag easily to carry around wherever I'm going!

Hello everyone. What a great group - thanks for the invite, Rose. I live in Colorado with my cowboy husband, Mike, and our Queensland heeler, Blue. Mike fought bulls professionally and Jake carries on the tradition. He also has two precious little girls. My writing career began in rodeo and spread from there. Heartsongs are some of my favorite books and I'm blessed to have had one of my own released in 2013 and three more this year. Looking forward to being a part of this group.

Hence my love of Goodreads! :)I nanny my niece and nephews half the week, plus do whatever my sis needs me to, a personal assistant you might say... ;) The other half I work at Casa Salza, a fabulous Mexican restaurant.
When I am not working or reading, I love to hang with my family, cook, bake, AND eat, play Ultimate Frisbee, and I probably watch way too much TV! ;)

Hi, I'm Helen, and I live in SE Missouri.I'm a retired teacher, and come May 31st I will have been married to my pastor hubby for 50 years. Together we raised three children, a daughter and two sons.
I've written for years, but got serious about it after I retired 8 years ago. Ozark Sweetheart is my debut with Heartsong, with Ozark Reunion to release in June and Ozark Wedding in September.

Well, June, I'll take the bait. The Rancher's Second Chance came out last August and is about two childhood friends that reunite after her heart has broken and he's lost a limb in Afghanistan. Of course he's a cowboy heart-throb as are all my heroes.My historical series is set in Canon City, Colorado in the late 1800s and follows the lives of the Whitakers and Huttons. 1-The Cowboy Takes a Wife (Feb 2014), 2-Branding the Wrangler's Heart May 2014), and 3-Romancing the Widow Aug 2014). I love writing both contemp and historical and would honestly be interested in hearing if one ranks over the other.
See how easy that was Davalynn? I just picked up my copy of The Cowboy Takes a Wife for my afternoon reading :) I read The Rancher's Second Chance last month and loved it. Eli is the sort of character I can easily fall in love with!!!
I also related to the story because I live in the city but we have a little farm out in the country that we like to get away to that is just as wonderful as the ranches in your story. The quiet, the occasional neighbor sighting, the neighbors cows getting out! LOL
So I'm off to read The Cowboy Takes A Wife now!
