Ben Langdon My blog includes reviews and can be access here: www.benlangdon.net

Currently I've reviewed a number of superhero/urban fantasy books, including: Alif the Unseen, Goldrush, World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, I Am Number Four, Sensation: A Superhero Novel and Gone - with more to come.

As you can tell, I'm stretching the theme a bit.

Ben Langdon Has anyone tried to review a comic?

I've done books, no worries, but how do you generally go about reviewing a comic? One of my favourite websites/podcasts is House to Astonish - http://www.housetoastonish.com/ - and they do a fantastic job of it, but I was wondering what other people though.

The first comic review I'm going to do is either:
1) Hawkeye, Vol. 1: My Life as a Weapon (Hawkeye
2) Hybrid Earth Issue #1

Watch this space... probably during next week.

Stephen Bates (stephenpbates) | 5 comments I've reviewed a few comicbook TPBs here on GoodReads and on my old blog. It's not really much different to reviewing novels, except you get to comment on the art as well as the writing. And perhaps even mention the graphic design and layout of the book.

I'd add some links but I'm not sure how to do that in the app on my iPad. Perhaps it's more obvious via the website???

Ben Langdon You're not related to Tony Modra are you? Seriously, I'm a sad Crows supporter from the hey day.

I'd love to review your novel Isabella. I'll get back to you in early April. :)

Isabella Modra (isabellamodra) | 4 comments as a matter of fact, Tony is my third cousin once removed (or something along those lines). My dad has met him a couple of times. Hahaha go the crows!

Thanks Ben, i look forward to it :)
