Everyone disappears, except a man who unknowingly does weird things in his sleep /s

Read the book a couple of years ago, probably written in the 21st century.

I think the book is set in the Netherlands, or somewhere in that area. From what I remember the main character one day wakes up and realises that everyone is gone. He does strange things in his sleep (that he doesn't remember afterwards).

He travels to his childhood summer house. Also brakes into and sleeps in stranger's houses. Drives fancy cars and crashes them.




SPOILER WARNING
What I remember most about this book is that towards the end he drives through the English Channel Tunnel, possibly on a motorbike. He takes pills to be able to stay awake for many days in a row, otherwise he will just drive back in his sleep. I think the reason he's going to England is that that's where his wife/girlfriend was on vacation when everyone went missing.
