Everything Is Illuminated: A Novel

Oh, I read it when I was 9, i remember that it was interesting.
I started Notes from the Underground. It is a GREAT book! I am ready to give it 5 stars just for the first 4 pages!

Everything that Rises must Converge (a bit backwards, I am)

Not finished with "Sons and Lovers" yet, but wanted to get in on the group read -- for once!

Trial was a very good book, hard, but really worth reading.
I am reading "Siddhartha".No comments yet.

I have to admit I found Middlesex harder and harder to read as it went along.

Oops, I just realized this one isn't on either of the lists; but it's a good one!

I'm sure I've read it before, but it was so long ago that I thought I would read it again for the purposes of checking it off the 1001 list. I'm looking forward to it!

How are you liking Middlesex? I read it not too long ago, and really enjoyed it. I grew up near Detroit and appreciated some of the local references.
