I just started L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad. I didn't realize that this book was for young adults, but I needed some light reading and so far it's a pretty quick read, however, if you've seen the show like I have you may find yourself trying to see which characters are playing who in the book.

I started reading Blackwood Farm by Anne rice. it's not my choice for an anne rice novel but since it's a gift for me last christmas, by a friend who mostly do the receiving. i'm up for the challenge to finish this book and tell him,. a very sincere thank you. =) to make up for my awkward thanks.,

"Burgur's Daughter" - Nadine Gordimer. I THOUGHT it was easier to understand than July's People, but now I'm not sure. The theme of the burden of family, and of circumstances in general is interesting, but again she is very wordy and I feel my understanding is barely over 1/2 most times. But sometimes there are really rich passages worth reading...very poignant quips.
