I really enjoyed that book! I hope you like it, too!

Have you already finished White Tiger?

Have you already finished White Tiger?"
Today started London Fields.
Sunny, I'm not quite done with White Tiger. I used to be a one book at a time person, but lately I've been doing multiple books, usually one per format (Kindle, Audio, Paper). There are pros and cons. Con: I miss getting totally immersed in just one story. Pro: If one of them isn't really grabbing me, then it doesn't feel so annoying since I'm interspersing with other works. Pro: If I'm in a lighting or sound environment that is less than ideal for Kindle or Audio, I still have a current book in another format that I can read.
Currently:
White Tiger (audio, almost done)
The Sun Also Rises (paperback)
London Fields (Kindle)

I loved Clousplitter. Read it before I knew there was such a thing as "the list."

I'm not one to usually mind bitter and depressing, so long as the style and character development are top notch, so I'm hoping to get something out of this one!

Cloud Atlas
I had already started Murakami's IQ84 when I received a copy of the film of "Cloud Atlas" from Netflix. Just had to start it right away to make the comparison! So far I really like the novel, but I also really liked the much abbreviated version of the film.
