I read about 10 pages of it this morning, but I've been trying to finish another book all day. As soon as I'm done with the last hundred pages of that, I'll be reading Attachments though. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it, Jamie!

I'm two days late already, but I'm planning to join you later today, once I finish those two books I'm reading. :/ I didn't like Fangirl much, so I don't have high hopes, but no way I'm giving up on a book about e-mails. :)

I'm about halfway through as of last night and I'm liking it. I really liked the beginning of Eleanor and Park and hated the ending of that though so I hope the same thing doesn't happen here. I'll probably finish it up later today and post more of my thoughts then.

The style of the email chats is quite annoying after the first chapter. Simply saying <> or using Jennifer's name as the sender would be so much easier on my eyes and mind. I have to drastically slow down my reader to make sure my mind does not reverse the two names since they are constantly being flip-flopped. Sadly, it is honestly a fairly big turn-off, no matter what the story. I am only 15% into the book but I see that email style continues. So I hope the story line is worth it and is very good.

And now he is getting into creepy stalker mode! Bad Lincoln. Curiosity and boredom are one thing but the desk snooping. Awkward... And how do the girls conversations of all things interest him so? it doesn't seem to fit. The conversations can be mildly amusing but not that good or knowledgeable (hide spoiler)]

I'm a little interested but I still don't really care enough about these characters. If someone were to take my book and never give it back to me or else - I wouldn't really mind. I could put it down and not pick it back up and it's not really a big deal -- which rarely happens with me. I'm usually ready to give my left arm to finish even a mediocre book

I'm not saying it's bad -- I just don't think it's my cup of tea.

Also, everyone seems waaay too nosey; it's both simultaneously funny and creepy.

The parts I love the most are the emails between Jennifer and beth and omg, the baby! That's so sad and what happened at the wedding! Everything is just happening at once. Nothing happens for the longest time and I just have to wrap my head around this.

I didn't really like this book. I'm kind of meh, about it. I don't like how the characters in this book prioritized the things happening in their life.

I don't like how the not wanting a baby issue changed so quickly for Jennifer. IT feels a bit -- women should be mothers! They should! Type of argument. As a person who does not want children (uuugh!) I don't think its realistic to think someone would compromise that so quickly and easily as Jennifer did.

I didn't like the ending all that much either! I liked that they got together but I wanted more! They just kind of get together in this wonderful way and poof, ending. I need moooooooooore! Their togetherness is the only thing I really had an attachment to! Pun intended! They seem to be the literal pieces of a puzzle that each were missing in their lives. A once-in-a-lifetime type of love and I got no glimpse into it! Just, nope. Despite all these things I still didn't hate it. It's a neutral for me. (hide spoiler)]

I just finished it! It's really good. It's the kind of book you can't stop reading before it ends.

I've read Eleanor and Park, Fangirl and Carry on and I absolutely love her writing.

I didn't realise for quite awhile that this was set in the 90s and perhaps hiring someone to read people's emails was more common when the internet was first introduced into the workplace. I feel like not very much is happening at the moment. Hopefully, it will get better like Eleanor and Park did. (hide spoiler)]

It keeps going on like that for awhile, but eventually Lincoln starts to change. Becomes more independent, stuff like that.
