"Oh, good. So, what's your favorite candy?" She yawned slightly, still eyeing the bowl for any leftover cashews.

"What do you eat?" she asked, jaw dropping. Who didn't eat sweets? "Don't you like birthday cake and ice cream?"
She wrinkled her nose. "I think chili is good, with chips. But pepper is only good to an extent. I was really bad at seasoning soup when I was little." Oh, and she remembered THAT fact, out of everything.
"I meant pepper as in jalapeno," he said, shrugging. "And the chili should be homemade, and extra spicy."
"It's like eating fire," she said, sniffing slightly, "Not very good at all, you always end up spitting it back out."
"Why only someone else's?" she asked, wondering if she had done something wrong, and actually holding a coherent conversation.
"Oh." She considered that, then sighed. "I guess I've only had selective experience, then. Do you like cashews?" Those weren't spicy at all.
"Oh." She chewed her lip slightly, playing with the sleeve of her fuzzy pajamas. "So, are there any really hot foods that you don't like?"
"So, you could eat pepper and cinnamon straight from the containers?" She stuck out her tongue, like it was something she might have tried once, accidentally.
"You must have a throat of steel," Khia marveled, stroking a strand of hair that looked very much like a feather, like it couldn't decide if it wanted to be hair or fluff.
"Have you ever tried to eat cinnamon plain? People have died from the one tablespoon challenge thing," she said, shuddering.
"NO- I- I already said that. Sorry. Do you like go fish?" She reached into her pocket, like she was very painstakingly trying to remember something, and pulled out a deck of cards.
((*snickers* https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...))She delt out cards, but didn't stop at 5, 7, or 9. She went to almost fifteen before remembering she was supposed to, then blushed furiously and re-dealt properly.
((You slippery vixen, you.))"Are you alright?" Crimson asked, wondering if this was a new level of scatterbrained.
((Do I sense shipping?))
((Pulled that prank two years ago on a different site when everyone got whiny. :D))"Uh huh," she said, picking up her cards.
((I doubt it, since she'd probably forget she's in a relationship.))
She sighed and drew another card. She seemed to get slightly better as the game progressed, but she would occasionally ask twice, which of course messed up her chances of winning majorly.
She bit her lip, squeezing her eyes shut, trying to remember. Then she'd change the card she asked for, which was probably one she'd already asked recently, but it was a good way to challenge her memory.
She grinned happily, reaching over and taking his three, slapping her own down over it. She still had about ten cards more than he did, but she didn't seem to care. Khia had the memory of a goldfish, maybe only slightly better.
"Do you know any games?" she asked, successfully having lowered her cards to an amount she could hold.
