The YA market has been flooded lately with retellings--fairy tales, classics, etc. What are your favorites?

I love this chart! There's quite a few I have not read yet!

My favorite fairy tale retelling is Entwined by Heather Dixon This is a beautiful book, and I recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy or fairy tales! The world building is fantastic, the characters are amazing, it has the most CREEPY villain ever, and it has a good old fashioned kind of romance, which I loved!

Dre (drewolf) | 266 comments I am always interested in Alice in Wonderland retellings like Splintered by A.G. Howard and Insanity by Cameron Jace, and I've read Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge for Beauty and The Beast.

I have not read any of those yet, Dre, although they are all on my TBR!!

I really liked Alice in Zombieland (The White Rabbit Chronicles, #1) by Gena Showalter !

I went through their entire list, and I've only read 20 out of 162!! And there are more out there, there's a few they missed!

Leigh | 403 comments I think this is an amazing list. I have read only a few on the list.

I thought so, too, Leigh, they obviously put a lot of time in putting it all together!

Recently read Rook by Sharon Cameron and I LOVED it! Its a very loose retelling of the Scarlet Pumpernickel. It takes place in the future, but feels like the past...so its a dystopian with a historical feel. LOVED it!
