I was wanting to know if someone knows what the age difference is between Claire and Frank?

A friend was asking me because she is reading one book (DIA I think) and listening to one (FC maybe) and she said in one it says something about Clair right after Bree was born was saying how Frank was still a good looking man in his late 40's but that would make the age difference 15 to 20 years and that just does not seem right. She says she listened to that part several times to make sure. I said I was thinking 10 yrs because she was 18 when they married and I think he was already teaching history at a University level.
I thinks it's the 15 to 20 years difference that Patty mentions.
When I read the book I was under the impression that it was 10. This is interesting though, now I want to know for sure!
I wonder if the outlandish companion has this info??
On google, I found that frank is about 38, which is what I had thought he was when outlander begins. In the outlandish companion, there are genealogies, but no dates for anyone after 1746! Maddening!
