Prudence Purwantoro | 8 comments Nathan is the main character in this story. He is an old-fashioned private investigator who lives in New York. He is a little pessimistic, so he explains that he goes often to a pub called McFadden’s bar in order to forget all his troubles by drinking beer. He doesn’t seems to be very rich, so he describes his office like an small place and he dreams of having his office in the Chrysler Building. Especially at the end of the story he shows that he is intelligent and that he don’t want to be in troubles, so he prefers his ordinary work , such as resolving divorce cases or finding missing people.East 43rd Street Level 5

Neha Shinde | 15 comments This Time It's Personal Level 6 by Alan Battersby
Nat Marley is one of the main protagonists in the short novel. He describes himself as an ordinary-looking guy, bald and overweight, living in the city center part of New York. He's an old-fashioned licensed private investigator whose routine work is investigating about bad debts, divorce or cases of missing person. Despite his unattractive looks, Nat is utterly determined in his work and has excellent influencing skills, however pessimistic. In addition to that, he is doubtlessly quick-witted. Hence, he solves his cases instantly. As an ex-NYPD officer, Nathan is not a fan of violence, thus he continuously feels the need to be "safe" at all times.

She's sixteen and spends her day watching TV, reading or going to support group occasionally, where she is forced to go and communicate with other kids with cancer. Hazel Grace has a good sense of humor but keeps a lot to herself. ,She lives her life trying not to hurt others. She doesn't want to get to close to anyone so that when she dies no one will be hurt. Hazel Grace is very real with herself, she knows that she has cancer and that's the way that her life has to be lived.

Michael Santoso | 14 comments My favourite character in my book is Percy Jackson, he is known to be a demigod and one of the naughtiest student. During his life, he has been kicked out by many boarding schools, he also disliked field trips when the teacher in charge of it is a strict one. In the novel, he is going for a search of the missing Zeus's missing lightning bolt and he have just ten days to do it.Percy jackson is known to be a brave and half- blood person which means that he is not normal.

Delicia W | 16 comments the character i chose to analyze is Jane Eyre, she is the protagonist and narrator of the novel, she is an intelligent, honest, plain featured young girl forced to contend with oppression, inequality and hardship. Although she is disliked by her autonomy, she always tries her best to maintain her principles of justice, human dignity and morality. Not only that, she strongly believes social equality challenges, the victorian prejudices against women and the poor.
