Nah it's Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) actually- and yeah I agree, love triangles are over-used but if one does happen I trust Brandon Sanderson to do it well.

Sanderson has said he despises love triangles but he adores conflict in relationships. Agreed. Potential awesome bromance
It does look as if Adolin and Kaladin are forming a good if grudging respect and friendship. Hopefully now Renarin is a Radiant he will be a stronger character.And I suppose if the book had been any longer the width and weight may have made it impossible to hold. (unless one has a kindle.)
Good point. I hope Ren comes into his own. He seems like a sweetheart. Do you all think people will discover what adolin did? What will their reactions be? I know no one will be heartbroken but his actions weren't very "knights radiant" like.
A bromance for the ages or maybe Shallan will turn to Kaladin and Adolin will become jealous and become Odiums champion. Who knows. That's because Adolin isn't a Radiant. May end up feeling left out. Feeling Inadequate.
Kal and Shal won't work out romantically it would just cause too much strife when Adolin and him need to work together. Plus he did kill her brother. I never thought about him hitting it off with Jassnah because well it's Jassnah but wouldn't that be just like her to finally find an equal in him.
Oh that's a good point though Obain- I can definitely see that happening. I really enjoy Adolin's character though, it'd be a shame to see him go a little 'dark side'. But interesting. The whole Sadeas ordeal might be setting him up well for that, but I don't think he'd ever go 'evil'. Maybe he'll battle inner demons though, that'd be verrryyy interesting.
Also yeah, I am wondering how Shallan will find out about Kaladin and her brother and the repercussions of that. Surely Adolin would be pissed as well.
I agree with everybody! The 3 of them are going to have an interesting future. I wonder how Adolin will react when he finds out about Shallan and the ghost bloods. On a separate note after syl becomes a shard blade kaladin hears her talk in his head. Could night blood be made from some sort of spren? What do y'all think?
In another thread they are actually talking about Nightblood being on Roshar, and is going to be with Sazh. It is because the swordtrainer is Vasher in disguise and he had lost the sword I think. I need to go back and reread that part at the end of WoR.
I can't imagine Adolin being too annoyed with Kaladin. He's a soldier. He knows what battle is like. Someone decimates your entire team, you ARE going to kill them. Nightblood was made on the Warbreaker planet by Vasher and his team. And I'm fairly confidant that spren are splinters of Honour. So I don't think Nightblood is a spren. Just a conscious sword.
Yeah, that's true. I think he'd just be angry that Kaladin did something - albeit unintentionally - that hurt Shallan.
Well, unintentionally in the sense that he didn't do it to hurt Shallan, I mean.
I was about to say it's pretty hard to unintentionally kill a Shardbearer. They don't even go to the toilet like normal people.
Hah, yeah - speaking of which, I'm interested in seeing where Kaladin's new ranking as a lighteyes will take him and how that'll effect his relationship with his friends from the bridges. I just can't wait for the next one, really.
From what I remember Kaladin was the one who was truly obsessed with remaining a dark eyes. Adamant that he was good enough as he was. I think it will just be him coming to terms with it that will be the major problem. Except that now he's flying home to save his little town. First meeting with his parents since being recruited. Meeting Roshone as not only a light eyes but a Knights Radiant. Who are still widely hated for betraying humanity.
I know the next book is Szeth's but once again I'm looking forwards to Kaladins parts.
Me too, I reckon there may be problems at home though; after 5(?) years of being gone and Roshone still there, how likely is it his parents are still alive?

Good point. I look forward to kaladin returning home as a light eyes. I think it's going to cause a stir. What will he do with his family once he arrives? He'll have to explain what happened to his brother. When will he get back?
