Looking for name of author. Series of books. A wanted military group hiding out inside mountain. Totally self sufficient and takes in strays. Nearby facility does testing on humans. Thought their captain set them up but rescued from facility. Romance books. First class chef one of the strays. One man in group has face disfigured. The women all came looking for them but did not know why.
