2015 September Pick-It-For-Me! Challenge

I just finished my first pick,

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I have really enjoyed this series myself. I'm actually reading The Game Plan which is the next book (in the present).
Hope you enjoy your other picks just as much!

So far I've read four of the picks you gave me!

I'm still waiting on a couple from the library and plan to get to as many as I can! Thanks again!

I finished my first pick from your list,

Oh I'm so glad. I love that author and all her books have humor and crack me up.

Just finished Embattled Hearts. Thank you for the suggestion. I think it was a good start to the series. I will have to add the others to my TBR list to see how it progresses.

I'm not sure what you mean, but if it is just that the person you picked for hasn't commented yet - that doesn't necessarily mean they haven't read any of your picks yet. (A glance at her read shelf does show that she has though.) There is still plenty of month left and sometimes it takes a while to get to all of the books they want to read in a month. I know I sometimes save a book I'm looking forward to until I've finished other obligations and have plenty of time to get absorbed in the story! Sometimes people just never have time to come back and comment, it isn't ideal but Real Life happens. I'm sure even in those cases, getting their picks is appreciated!!

Nanci, thank you for reading my books.I am happy you enjoyed them.

sorry if I caused offence I am not usually a rude person, Its just annoying that I put so much effort into the picks and it doesn't even look like the list was looked at. I will say no more on the matter.

No offense. I was just explaining that the month isn't over, just because no comment has been made as of yet doesn't mean your efforts weren't appreciated. As the host I appreciate it!

Read my 5th pick Valentine-it was pretty good!!
Thanks again for adding me in the re-picks and for giving me great picks!

I read 11 books of my picks by Elizabeth:
The very best of them was - of course - Proven Guilty, but I'm Harry Dresden fan anyway :)
Therefor, it's no surprise, that the Jim Butcher story in My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding has been one of my highlights as well.
Starstruck was a new to me book and a pleasant surprise. I think I've never read a YA-geek-alien -SF-Urban Fantasy-romance before. Quite refreshing!
Playing for Keeps - I don't read many m/m romances (I'm usually a m/f or f/f reader) and I hate soccer (which is sooo big in my country) - and yet I really liked this book. The characters were very likeable and it has been a wonderful read.
The Earl I Adore - I love Knightley's writing and her HRs are really sweet -
Thieves' Quarry and Black Powder War were pretty solid fantasy novels and series I'll continue.
Dying Bites had an interesting premise, I think I will read this series, too.
Bite the Bullet is a series, that isn't working for me, although I like the characters.
Not my cup of tea (not bad, just not my thing: Dockside and Hell on Wheels - but hey, the last one was free ^^
Thanks again for those great picks!

I'll try to read another one of my picks.

Baseball Cap
Slow Ride — ★★★★ 9/3 (tbr)
Taking a Shot — ★★★★★ 9/9 (tbr)

I just finished my first pick,
There were definitely some laugh out loud moments for me, especially when Robert and Elizabeth would recall some of their best moments tormenting each other as children. But there were also incredibly moving moments when he would take care of her and she would indulge his food fixation. The tie-back to the present was also fairly well done. Thanks for including it in my list. 4 stars.
