As per happy's suggestion, this thread is for discussing The Medieval Murderers series.

The template for the books normally begins with some event before the time period of any of the authors series and then the author will use that event in writing his entry in the time period for his character. The book then concludes in modern times.

Book list for The Medieval Murderers

The series is up to 10 books

Authors include Susanna Gregory, Micheal Jecks, Bernard Knight, Ian Morson, C.J Sansom amoung others. The contributing authors vary from book to book.

I really enjoy this series, sadly, I've fallen behind.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 462 comments I've read the first volume, The Tainted Relic: An Historical Mystery. It was a lot of fun.

The Deadliest Sin (The Medieval Murderers, #10) by The Medieval Murderers

They changed the format on this one - instead setting the stories in different eras using a common theme, the theme in this one is a group of pilgrims on the way to Walsingham in 1348 all tell a story on one of the 7 deadly sins.

Kind of like Paul Doherty's Canterbury mysteries.

Also Micheal Jecks is back - he contributes the first story.
