Babe, smoking's hard to quit, and it's not good for you no matter your age. You can't be bummed because he's mad at you. Sure, he might have over-exaggerated the reaction but still, it's not a good habit to have.I get why you smoke, I get why you're stressed, but it's not a healthy thing to do, especially when you're so young. Cigarettes have an affect on your body, and I'm sure you know that. They're hard to quit, so if you ever decide to quit, just stick to it.
I can see why your friend freaked, why he's worried. And honestly, I feel like I'm repeating myself by this point, but I really do hope that you find a better habit while you're stressed. For me, I sketch. I put every ounce of my effort into drawing whenever I can't do anything else, other times I read. Everyone has something they do when they're stressed, but smoking isn't good for anyone.
I know, and I try so hard to quit...but I can't. No one supports me and I feel like an idiot.
I'll always be here to support you, we all will. Trust me, I don't know how hard it is to quit, but I've seen others while they're trying to quit. My dad smoked for (what I know) at least ten years, probably even more, and my mom made him stop when they got together because they didn't want all of the smoke around baby me. But, it took him three years to quit, he even snuck a few every now and then, but he's been smoke-free for about ten years. It's hard to quit, but it's not impossible.

Yeah. And I'm trying to help people and be a good witness and representation for my family's sake. Because my dad's a pastor and he has a church. And I'm never living up to his standards and just urgh.
Sometimes you can't be the perfect one. Sometimes you don't live up to expectations. I surely didn't. But you're you, and someone out there will love you because of it. Just keep your head held high and be yourself, don't blend to be someone you're not.
