Okay so I know this is probably just bc I went through a breakup friggen yesterday
But boys aren't necessary, or girls or whatever you're romantically interested in.
Like before I felt like I needed to be with a guy on order to be confident and happy and everything
And it did help me, like I'm a more confident person now
But tbh by the end of things, I was feeling worse and worse everyday. Bc really, if the person that was supposed to want me didn't even care to talk to me, why should anyone? And I was a wreck and now that things are over, I feel so much fucking better.
It's just not necessary. My friends and I are going out tomorrow and I'm so excited, it's going to be crazy fun because I can do whatever I want
I don't have to worry about making him upset by saying something
Or about him being bored by what I say
Or about him feeling awkward when I say the word "bra"
I just don't have to
And I'm so relieved
Because I've found through this that I can be myself and I can be happy and confident and I can SEE A DIRECTION FOR MY LIFE
Without any help from a boy or a man or a guy of any kind, just by MYSELF
AND THAT MEANS SO KUCH TO ME IM GOING TO PUNCH A WALL
