From actresses Tia and Tamera Mowry comes the story of tween twins Cassie and Caitlyn and their discovery that they have the ability to see things before they occur!
When their mother's new job forces them to move from bustling San Antonio to middle-of-nowhere Aura, Texas, Caitlyn tries to stay positive, focusing on meeting new people and having new adventures. Cassie, on the other hand, is convinced that it's only a matter of time until they'll be sick of Aura and ready to move back to the big city.
But being the new kids isn't their only challenge. The girls start experiencing strange visions, and they must work together to change the future before it can happen.
Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley gained initial fame on the '90s sitcom Sister, Sister. Tia now holds the role of star and producer on Nickelodeon's hit series Instant Mom, and Tamera is one of the hosts and producers on the hit talk show The Real, currently airing on FOX and BET. Together they've created a magical story about twin sisters with a powerful gift.
That is so awesome that these sisters have come together and made a book. I grew up watching there show and despite how hollywood can be to young kids in the business they look like they've come to be great woman and mothers.
I wonder if Tia & Tamera each wrote for one of the twins, since the chapters so far have been swapping POV between the two and each have a distinctive voice, or if they wrote them both together? I personally think Cassie sounds more like Tia and Caitlyn like Tamera, so if they each wrote one that would be my guess.
Anyway, it's definitely an easy read. The story is interesting, but I'm curious what the twins ability will actually do. Will the see someone that is in pain through it and figure out a way to save them before it happens? I know they're just figuring it out, so I'll have to wait and see. (hide spoiler)]
Ugh! I can't believe Cassie did that! I know she wants to be popular, but I thought she was going to either tell her sister (so she could warn Liam), warn him herself, or find a way to stop it from happening.
I wonder what Gabe did, or is planning to do. Caitlyn left him alone in her house, near her mom's purse, so he could have planned something that will get her fired. Hopefully he won't succeed if his plan is nefarious. (hide spoiler)]
I thought it was really cute. It was nice how the sisters got back together at the end and worked with each other to figure out the vision and change it.
I'm curious how Caitlyn shared on that forum about their abilities will play out in future books, especially with how it was shut down and then both girls got a vision about the exact same thing. If their right about one receiving only positive visions and the other negative one, what will that mean? (hide spoiler)]
