Ricardo (ricardofayet) | 8 comments Hey guys!

Here's a quick message to present you Reedsy! We are building a community of top publishing professionals (editors, illustrators and soon marketers) to work with authors: https://reedsy.com/

We've received thousands of applications and only selected the very best in the business. Here are a few examples:

George R.R. Martin's editor: https://reedsy.com/michelle-hope
Paul Krugman's editor: https://reedsy.com/kerry-tremain
Stephen King's designer: https://reedsy.com/stuart-bache
Hugh Howey's designer: https://reedsy.com/ben-adams

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this initiative! We'll soon be opening new segments and are hesitating between marketers, publicists, book production specialists and fact-checkers. What do you need most?

Mason Engel Great post, Ricardo! Reedsy sounds especially helpful to up and coming writers like me. I browsed through the site but I couldn't find anything on print publishing. Is that something they offer? Or is it a strictly self-publishing platform for e-books alone?

Ricardo (ricardofayet) | 8 comments Hi Mason, thanks for the kind words! We're not really a publishing platform, what we focus on at the moment is helping authors connect with the right editor, designer, and soon marketer (if and when needed) — and offering a satisfaction guarantee (whoever you choose to work with on our marketplace).

Some authors come to us before querying agents (to strengthen their manuscript), others plan to self-publish in print and digital, others only in digital, etc.
You choose in which direction you want to take the book afterwards, and of course, we're more than happy to help out with advice or connections when we can!
