Need a cuddle?

I need a hug today too, just having a self pity day :o(

She and the baby are safely out of the environment, to be honest. Her mother and I will just have to help her start again, which we will.

She is lucky she has such supportive parents. Well done, Will.

because that's what we do isn't it? Good on you and hope things to work out

Hugs to all that need x

Jud - have a bosie or two! *squeeze*

A decent job and a willingness to work are a pretty good combination, and with a supportive family behind her, she'll be OK

She'll do then :-)

((((HUG)))) for you too Jud, it's exhausting being a Mum and hugs for you are always here, you're doing great !
In fact let's have group hug (((((((((((HUGGGGGGG)))))))))))
That's better, bit of extra strength for everyone to get us through the day.

I'd be surprised at that price. They'd want to watch the telly too.

I've been seriously under charging Dave."
That's a very sexist answer, perhaps Dave has been seriously undercharging you? ;-)

Is that why she's always run down?

You ruined your little funny there, Pickle."
No, you are the one undercharged, hence you're run down. Oh dear God.

First call at work, lifting a patient onto the trolley, twisted and pulled my back.
After the next call I decided it was only getting worse and I'd be better off going home sick. Which I did.
I got to the approach to a busy roundabout off the A1 when my car got very poorly. Couldn't go any further so had to pull into the side of the road, get out and call the AA (who would be there within an hour but I was a priority because of my location). And then my Dad, and then 101 because I was causing a bit of a hazard.
At that point, four lads came across the road to check I was ok and if I wanted their help. They very very kindly pushed me back down the hill (with one wearing my hi vis so he could stop traffic!) and into a safe spot before checking I was going to be safe and leaving me locked in my car. Had to call AA, 101 and my Dad again!! AA eventually turned up and recovered my poor car home where she will be visited by an AA patrol tomorrow to fix her. And then she's going in for a service as soon as I can book one to try and fix her.
Still amazed by the kindness of those lads helping me despite it putting them at risk of being hit by someone else. Also spoke to a lovely lady on 101 who was very sympathetic and said I'd done the right thing by ringing them up and that they'd send someone to check on me.

I hope you're settled and sleeping now and your back is okay by morning.
No amount of lift training in the world can help if you have to deal with an uncooperative patient.
Do take care of yourself, darling.

AA have just been out to fix my car. It's the same problem as last time, a failed/broken ignition coil (think that's what they're called, sit above the spark plugs). The AA guy said chances are if one goes the others will soon follow as they're made at the same time so I'm going to get a spare one for if the third one fails. And get it in for a service as soon as I can to check there's nothing else wrong.

((((((Redcar))))))

I hope the same spirit gets them through these tough times.
Seems I get the full story in about an hour."
So sorry to hear that, Will. Nothing worse than family disharmony. I hope it all works out.
Manly hug despatched.
