Wow, that's great Aparna. Far west to Far east, new climate and new libraries :) Good luck with the move! Hope you'll be back in the W territory soon after settling.Edit:Oh wait! So you are going straight into Bertie Territory!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, Vimal. I am eternally postponing Bertie.Currently I am playing hide and seek with 10 books.
4 of them in active competition.
After I finish a couple, (hope it is soon) I will probably start Bertie along with Slaves of solitude.
@Syl, you are an amazing book manager! Do join in when you get time.@Rebecca,anytime. I'm planning to start sometime this weekend after completing my current book.

Thank you :)
I am about 12% into it and chuckling all to myself this dark misty evening. This is the way I love reading Wodehouse with a few months break so that everything seems new.

hmmmmmmm....here it is hot, hot, hot..
afternoons if I have to walk home, I get headache and photophobia. The sun is THAT bright.
I'm a big fan of Kerala weather too.Had an extreme love-hate relationship with the weather there when I stayed there for a couple of years. I think there are enough books about London weather, but not enough books that describe Kerala weather :DWill be starting the book today
It was raining all afternoon here. This place it used to rain whole year round except for this year - it was a scorching hot summer till a few weeks back.
Couldn't read much last week. Read for sometime today. In chapter 11. With Jeeves's help Bertie narrowly escapes being hit on the back of the head by the zulu knobkerries :) Funniest chapter so far
I am on page 50 .Today my supressed laughter at the scene when Pop Basset sees Bertie planted in his house woke up my hubby from his slumber.

Bloodbath indeed! Bertie at his philosophical best in the second half :D A real gem this is in the Jeeves collection.
Vimal, as we discussed in the other thread, I dont mind either of the 3, but thought mating season sounds a tad betterThe Code of the Woosters
Jeeves and the Tie That Binds
The Mating Season
Shall we start this Sunday?
Rebecca and others, care to join in?
My PC is not working. So I don't know which I have with me. You people go ahead with your choice. Will catch up later.
Sure, we can start with mating season, though I'm doubtful of a Sunday start. I'll be able to start sometime in the middle of next week.
But I think after reading Mating season, I want to read something apart from the Jeeves numbers. It'll be my 8th Jeeves and I'm beginning to get afraid that I shouldn't run out of Jeeves books :P They are so damn good.
Vimal, sounds good. Even the end of next week is fine. I said Sunday thinking you wanted an earlier start :-)Mating season it is.
Vimal, I started the mating season. I may go slow as my cup overfloweth at the moment... but read the first few pages during a bout of insomnia yesterday night , and it is hilarious.
That's great! The master just charms the stars out of you, doesn't he.Unfortunately I couldn't begin last week since things were going too tight. Starting today for sure.
Anyone else joining?
