Lord Elmsworth(The Earl who resides in Blandings castle) is one character whose acquaintance you mustn't delay in making Girish! Psmith is a separate series of 4 books, the last of which is also Blandings #2

Lol, funny to imagine him doing that
hellooo folks..m back from vacation..let me know which pgw book u guys are currently reading ..I'll join in too!
Welcome back Aparna. Rebecca, Girish and I have 'Jeeves in the offing', so we might be reading it next. Would you be joining for that?
@smitha thanks :),would you like to join in for the next Jeeves book ?@rebecca,vimal let me check with my library and grab a copy asap
I am really loving this one. This is the ideal hungama situation where Bertie can contribute to making it more.
"I will stand watch outside the door. If i see her coming i will sing""Always glad to hear your singing, of course, but in what way will that ease the strain?"
:'D had me laughing in the train like a Gump! :D
Done! The second half passed off in a blur, since I found some elements from previous Jeeves books. But Bertie rocks as usual :)
I have also reached the halfway mark..its been my bed time ritual to read this since the last few days..reading a bit slowly..liking it very much :)
Awesome. Its amazing how all of us continue to enjoy PGW. For my part, this is the first time that I've read an author at the rate of 7 books in 7 months, and haven't got tired of him/her :)
Long time! It'll be good to revive this again. Planning to start with either one of Carry on Jeeves or Jeeves and the tie that binds.Anyone joining in?
@Aparna, awesome! Let me know when you get either of those and we'll start@Rebecca, Ah bad. But I think Carry on Jeeves should be over soon, and then we'll pick 'Stiff upper lip, Jeeves'. I checked previous messages and found that you and Girish both have it.May be Aparna can get it too.
@Girish, found either?

Am tempted to join you folk. But I am neckdeep in buddy reads and group reads.
Ahh, couldn't post here last week. Where have you reached, Aparna?I'm done with the first 5 stories. The first involved Bertie's nightmarish fiance Florence Craye and it was an absolute stress-buster word-for-word. The next 4 stories were repeats(except for the introductory pages) from Jeeves#1. But I absolutely didn't mind a re-read at all. The stories sounded as fresh and riotously humourous as if it were my first time :)

Plan to join for the next one Syl. I think we will be having a full house for that- 'Stiff upper lip, Jeeves'
I am done with two stories..as usual Wodehouse never disappoints..even though sometimes the storyline seems repetitive..its always a refreshing read.
Syl. A.k.a Topo di biblioteca wrote: "I sure would like to. When are you starting?"As soon as we are done with the current one. From next week probably.
Hey vimal..I am sorry but due to some work related changes, myself and family are relocating to New york all the way from california..Its a huge move and I will be busy and will not get time to read for this and next month...So I think I will have to join you guys next time...Meanwhile you all have fun with Wodehouse..will join you all soon for the next one after everything gets settled at my end.
