What made them a hero: He is an orphan with a large sum of money.

Personality: Alex is a quiet but highly opinionated boy. He is highly intelligent, and gets high grades in school. Alex struggles to make and keep friends as his opinions get him into trouble. Alex has a sore spot in his height, and when people mention it, he gets very angry. He doesn't like being told what to do, and loves to debate with others.

History: Alex was born in South America, to a rich mother, who has fallen for a poor boy in the town. He was an illegitimate child. He was kept hidden away from the town for most of his life. Alex grew up hearing his mother speaking French and Spanish, while his father spoke Spanish and some English. Alex's father left when he was 8, after saying that he never wanted a child in the first place. When Alex was 10, his mother got very sick and died quickly, leaving Alex alone. He was adopted by a couple in America soon after. He has been in America since, and still struggles with socializing, and talking of his history.
