Welkie and sweet. Keep going! Yea, the cover ho in me was definitely lured in by the cover. The MC again in this one is leaving a bit to be desired. Up to 162, and the fact that she knows who she is(after much history telling and character info dumping about her), and even SHE isn't enjoying fully what she is learning. Well at least most of it.

The tone is kind of eh too. And I think the author pulled a bit from SK's mythos a bit in regards to some Godly created vampires and werewolves and such. But still keeps it pretty original-ish. We shall see.

ALL DONE! was WORTH the book length and the ending was AMAZING and didnt want the book to end and miss the series so much e.e. LOL ofc @ cover XD. woah O_O. does it maybe help that she did something similar to SK?

Woot! Knew you could do it! Somewhat helps on the similarities to SK's stuff. I'm just over the MC's supposed friends and their family jumping all over her about being the long lost Empress and til she remembers who she was in the past. Everyone is in grave danger and how she can't go anywhere without an escort. It's just really ugh on that front.

Hey sis forgot if I saw it around here or not. But meant to ask you if this was a year challenge or would it carry over to next year too? Betrayal is kicking my booty at the moment even though I'm up to chapter 22 or so. But the point I'm on makes me want to strangle so many people right now, lol.

Got it finished though so praise above on that one big time! Onto Hyde and it is so well put together. Hell I don't even mind that the MCes keep circling back to each other. And so good to see a story with so FEW editing errors like EVER!!! So yay on that one all day.

Finished up both Betrayal and the Surrogate which turned out pretty good. Down to oh and not sure if you had a sec to stop in and check. But I have the partners matched for the SBS challenge. So feel free to swing over when you can.

I don't know. There were good moments and just some moments I think the author was trying to put too much into her characters. And the over emphasis on the Hero being black and what not. I more than got it. Nothing to over yack about. Amongst other things.
