The year is 2181. Specifically, July 26th. The war that wiped out most of the earth was exactly 126 years ago. It started as petty fights throughout the world among different countries, but it soon grew to be much more than that. Almost everyone was wiped out. The few who remained went into hiding, waiting for this hell to be over. There were all types of war- nuclear, civil, sickness, etc. And this was all started by small arguments between countries. The nuclear part of World War III has left much mutated, from plants all the way up to humans. Not powers, but physical and mental mutations. Violence. Hostility. Mental retardation. And those are only a few examples. The civil part left many betrayed, others without confidence. This left many weak, and they were soon lost. Sicknesses released by the government have not died out, making some people, essentially, zombies. Overall, it was an apocalypse. And now, 126 years later, there are still mutations, but the human race lives on. They gave birth to more people, and despite it not being nearly enough to repopulate, small communities were made. With the constant fear of mutated animals and crazed people, it's a bit hard to live in a world like this.
