No, 40 is in the "click on it and got this author doesn't exist so someone must have fixed it already" basket

No, 40 is in the "click on it and got this author doesn't exist so someone must have fixed it alr..."
OK thanks, I should have looked, I guess!
But it still leaves the problem that if you search for "Sara Blaedel" without the joined ae, you get no-one at all. Is there a way for a search for "Sara Blaedel" to default to Sara Blædel? Because I, for one, don't know how to put the joined ae in with my keyboard, and on my copy of Blue Blood
her name doesn't have the joined ae, so people might well search for "Sara Blaedel" and naive librarians like me might even add the book, thinking they were doing the right thing....... sorry if I'm being a pest

The search on Goodreads does not work that way, and it's not something librarians have any control over.

Oh well, thanks for the info...
although I note that if you search the field at the top of the page for Jo Nesbo and press return, you get a list of Jo Nesbø's books, and to me this seems like the same sort of problem
hrm. good question. Rivka, does this fall under the heading of an Anglicized pen name? it certainly looks like "Sara Blaedel" on the cover, not the joined ae. Should Sara Blaedel be added as a secondary author with a note in the profile description redirecting to the claimed profile?
I've actually been discussing this author with some of the other Goodreads staff members since I posted a couple hours ago. We have decided that it is best to list her as Sara Blaedel -- at least until/unless she joins the site and expresses a different preference. (It's worth noting that her official site is actually http://sarablaedel.com/.)
I have edited her profile accordingly.

Thanks very much for your help! There must be a bit of a bug or delay, though, because searching in the field at the top of the page for Sara Blaedel still gives me no results....
I have republished my book On The Verge as a paperback through CreateSpace. It was formerly only listed as an ebook on Kindle. Goodreads has already listed the new paperback version, ISBN 978-1497472846 but with a different Tim Ellis as the author. Can somebody fix this for me please?
Koenraad wrote: "61 fixed - Is it the same cover as the other editions?"Yes it is. Thank you Koenraad.
This book Pure Eyes, Clean Heart: A Couple's Journey to Freedom from Pornographyis not by the same Craig Ferguson as this one...American on Purpose
From the amazon site for Pure Eyes, Clean...
Jen Ferguson is a Bible teacher at her church, retreat speaker, and host of an online women’s community called Soli Deo Gloria Sisterhood. She graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and holds a master’s degree in education. Craig Ferguson is a manager at a consumer electronics corporation and the involved father of two little girls. Craig and Jen reside near Austin, Texas, where they are happily married and thankful for God’s ongoing work in their lives.
I'm not sure how to separate the two listings?
re 66: disambiguated Craig Ferguson. Here's how to do it: https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/2....Then put "<i>Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the Goodreads database with this name.</i>" in the biography section (so it is visible to all users) and add a Librarian's Note to the profile mentioning the author's name with the number of spaces (represented by carets).
Han Suyin is a pseudonym, but clearly intended by the author to function as a Chinese name, where Han is the family name, Suyin the personal name. Could I trouble a librarian to correct the order please?
Just entered my first book into the data base and it's listed under a different author with the same name. I have a give away pending. I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot. I'm brand new to Goodreads. Thank youi
Please, one of the authors of this book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...is Cesare Romanò (with the accent ò)
It seems I'm not able to make it accept the ò. For now I created the author Cesare^^Romano here https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... because Cesare^Romano was already another author, but even if I edit the name there, I still don't get Cesare Romanò
Can someone fix?
I got the accent to stay, but it might be safer to leave the two spaces. I put it in with alt-0242 rather than a key; that might be why it worked. Only one book is actually left for the original Cesare Romano: the rest were either Romanò or Cesare P.R. Romano. Library of Congress doesn't seem to have a record for the Freud and Dora book.
