Belinda Lancaster (belindalancaster) | 1 comments Had to give a thumbs up to this quality novel from a brave author who really does her homework.

Excellent suspense, quirky characters and a well thought out and twisting plot. No gimmicks and a truly professional ending...having always enjoyed Sidney Sheldon, Grisham, Hannah, Ludlum and Cooper, this was a great addition to my book shelf.

Quick sum up:

The DREAM which made her life a NIGHTMARE.

A string of murders dating back to 1987 and in all that time only one witness and she doesn't even know she's a witness!

Young and successful, lawyer Gabriella Harvey is perplexed by the peculiar dreams which have begun to haunt her. She is the daughter of an esteemed barrister, has a loving family and has recently married; why is she is no longer content in her job or her relationship? Her hunt for an explanation lead her to a doctor, a psychologist and even to an eccentric psychic, Mr Goldfarb. The ground hog moment arrives when Gaby spontaneously and uncharacteristically accepts a spliff at a school reunion. She passes out, but the intoxicating marijuana loosens the tight control her conscious mind has had on her memory and that memory locked away for so long floods back.

Gaby is shell shocked: what she has just recalled casts enormous doubt over everything she thought she knew about her past, her family and even herself.

She is forced to stray onto the wrong side of the law in world where the scales of justice are rigged in favour of her eminent and respectable adversaries. Along with an unlikely set of allies from across the social strata she digs into her past, knowing that it will change her future forever.

Her quest for truth will cost her everything;
......it may even cost her life.

Next of Sin will make you wonder whether anybody you meet can be trusted and the safe answer is, NO.
