Each year I challenge myself to read a certain number of books. This year I set my goal at 70. I finished one of my book reading goals already this year. I finished the Millenium Trilogy after attemping to read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo 5 times....the 5th time was the charm. It is a really hard book to get into, but once you reach a certain point it is hard to put down.
Here are my other challenges I have given myself this year:
1. A book with an animal on the cover (finished this challenge with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz)
2. A book everyone but you has read (finished this challenge with Gone With the Wind)
3. A book that's been on your shelf for more then 5 years (Finished this challenge w/ Native Son)
4. A classic YA book (finished this challenge with To Kill a Mockingbird)
5. A book based upon a true story. (Finished this challenge with Columbine)
