PJ (askpatti) | 114 comments I'm trying to add Book 7 and Book 3 came up for Book 7s AISN. This is for the Donald Wells Taken Series.

The AISN and the rest of the title match book 7.

Book 7 -

Book 3 -

Thank you :)

Empress (the_empress) Created Raynolds Family Saga series:

Created Monster series:

Created the taken series:
For some reason the description for all books is the same

Book 3 is already in the database:
ACE added
I have this from the description of the series: Taken! Box Set: Book 24C: HIT SQUAD (See here: )

However the other books were titled The Taken! Series of Short Stories and the two you are linking are A Taken! Novels.

PJ can you provide any information as I am seeing around 50 books that are part of "taken, short stories series"

PJ (askpatti) | 114 comments Thank you for all your hard work. I was really confused when I saw 24C though. I looked at the authors Goodreads page to see if there was a list of the books. I found this webpage listed. It also shows "The Hit Squad" listed as book 7.

Empress (the_empress) Hi PJ.

I will leave the book as it is. If you look at the series I have created they are referred to as "The Taken! A short stories series"

What I think has happened is he first published the books serialized as short stories and then decided to combine them in larger (fit for paperbacks) novels.
As the short stories were published before the boxed sets we keep that numbering.

In fact when I search the novels ASINS, box sets appear on goodreads, so I just think that he has republished the series as novels

So looking into each book from the above link (thanks for that, there was not much info on the author website) this is my conclusion:

Novel 1 contains 1-6
Novel 2 contains 7-12
Novel 3 contains 13-18
Novel 4 contains 19-24
Novel 5 contains 24A (probably not published as short stories)
Novel 6 contains 24B (probably not published as short stories)
Novel 7 contains 24C (probably not published as short stories)
Novel 8 contains 25
Novel 9 contains 26-31
Novel 10 contains 32-37
Novel 11 contains 38-43
Novel 12 contains 44-49
Novel 13 contains 50
Novel 14 contains 51
Novel 15 contains 52
Novel 16 contains not yet out

Therefor novel 7 is book 24C from the series and that is how it will stay.

All you need to do is check Amazon, search the ASIN here and you will see the older edition.
Even the Amazon link says it:
Taken! - The Couple That Slays Together (Donald Wells' Taken! Series Book 10): Taken-Box-Set-Books-32-37-ebook/dp/B00GS7OZ28/ref=pd_sim_kstore_2

PJ (askpatti) | 114 comments Thank you, I was just trying to keep the numbers straight so I can read them in the correct order. The author has made this difficult I guess. hahaha I appreciate the info. I just printed the list out. :) Hopefully it will keep me on track.

Empress (the_empress) Not a problem, and yes it is very confusing. Especially when you are trying to create the series and you are not familiar with the author's works. The last link you provided was very helpful.

I've left the list in the series description so people can refer to it as well.
