I love it! actually it is my second time to read it and I am thinking why hasn't she written another book since? I don't know when but I'd like to see if she plans on writing another fiction. She is such an excellent writer. :D how are you liking it?

I check books using the Amazon "look inside" function. There is usually a search bar (though sometimes you have to switch editions) and you can search for a word or phrase.
It is very handy.

They taught me this earlier in the Games because I didn't know either. If you go to Amazon and choose the paperback or hardcover page for your book, you can click on the book (where it says something like "take a look inside." It pops up a new screen and on the left had side there is a box to search the book. It doesn't work for every book, but for most. It's pretty sweet.

I'm using the black mission figs to make fig jam with rosemary and port, and the white figs are going into a fig, cardamom, and rum jam. YUM!

When I gathered all of the canning supplies I forgot to take the jar grabber so right now I'm stalling while Luis runs to the store for me. :)

It's a new recipe for me. As usual I've changed a few things. The recipe calls for brandy but I didn't have any so I used some rum I had lying around. I hope it will taste ok! :)
