Re-Introduction and Looking for New GR Friends

Hello! My name is Emily (reader board Emily S) and I joined this group a while back but haven't been too active until recently. Since I recently fell back into the habit of reading, I decided to spruce things up by getting involved in SRC again. I figure I'm more likely to stick with it if I make some friends, so HI!

I'm 23, engaged (getting married in October), a waitress at a local steak house, a guide at our local Zip line, an aspiring author, a camp counselor (pool and ropes' course director) at my local Girl Scout Camp during the summer, and a cat-lady. (That's a lie, I only have one cat. But she is the most brilliant, most cutest, most amazing kitten anyone has ever seen ... :D) In my spare time, I like reading, watching weird Youtube videos with my fiancé, puzzles, How I Met Your Mother, softball, board games, my kitten (Meiko), LOST, studying serial killers, and generally having a good time.

I'd like a few more GR friends to exchange recommendations, provide mutual support for SRC challenges, and expand my reading choices. I enjoy reading most things, but some of my favorite genres are dystopian, mystery, chick lit, sci-fi (futuristic), magic, and humor.

Can't wait to meet you all and make some new SRC friends!

Aw! That's awesome! We tried to pick the month with the most consistently mild weather, since we're getting married outdoors!

We got married in May (40 years this May!), but our older daughter got married in October 2013, and our younger daughter is getting married in October 2014!

So many weddings! That's so cool, I love the fall weather and colors! I'm sure planning 2 weddings in 2 years is hectic!

You want to talk hectic, I have two brothers getting married this year one month apart! 28 days to be exact! One in September and one in October. It's going to be a crazy year!
