GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Does anyone else obsessively check the task board for new tasks?
yes, so true-- I literally have to stop myself from constantly checking! (and it doesn't work cuz i still do it!!):D
I ration myself. I tell myself I can't check again until I've done this and this and this (then I cheat and check before I've completed them all).
Oh, thank goodness. I've been hit the "refresh" button a couple times today! Glad to know I'm not alone.And...I just noticed there are a couple of new 20 pt and 25 pt tasks up now! Yay!!!

only a couple of times!?! You're not bad at all.
Because of the time difference between Germany and US, it is the first thing I do every morning, as there is a great chance a new task was posted in the night. And then I check again a few times during the day, even so I know that most of you and the mods are still sleeping and there can't be anything new...pathetic I know ;-)
It's even worse now that I have the Goodreads app on my phone. I have no idea how many times a day I check, but I think I have a problem.
LOL...just saw this post after checking for new tasks for about the 5th time today. I'm officially obsessed.

Along with obsessively checking for tasks, I love looking at the different ways task creators label their two spots for approving/not approving our books!
Haha! Rest assured there is more coming soon! My new task, 20.4 has just been sent to the Mods. I'm sorry I haven't been at my computer to get it done as timely as I would have liked.

With the last task posted, maybe we can all be a little less obsessive (at least for a couple of months!)

Kristi is out of town until Sunday night, but Dlmrose and I are working on this.

Yay! Thanks!
We are starting the process of putting our house on the market, and I wanted to select my book so that I can pack up al the others that will not be used in this challenge. I think this will be my last challenge until the move is complete.
At least I can stop obsessively checking the group reads poll while I'm waiting to obsessively check for tasks ;) !
This will be the first time I play ,so every time I see a new notification , I check to see if it's the list of Summer tasks up yet. I didn't know what day they would post them .
Kaye - 5, 10, 15 tasks will be up Saturday; 25, 30 point tasks between then and then of month (as ppl finish challenge, get tasks approved etc); 20 pointers starting after end of this challenge through first week and a bit

All the dates are listed in the calendar we post for each season. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/....
Now and then, we wind up posting tasks a little early, because of having personal lives, but we generally post in a timely way. The posts for 20, 25, and 30 tasks can be more variable, since we have to wait for the task creators to get tasks to us and for the wrinkles to get ironed out as much as possible.

I can't help but check, I feel like the earlier I come up with a list of books to read, the better I can get organized.:)
Can't wait!
Thanks Sandy ,
I just took a look at the schedule . You guys sure are on the ball to keep things organized so well :) It must be a big job !
