I totally get why you hate him. I didn't hate him, but I certainly wasn't fond of him. You HAVE TO READ MOCKINGJAY. Don't make a judgment until you've read Mockingjay. Just, read it. Then come back and talk about Finnick ;)
He's still not my favorite, but I don't certainly dislike him anymore either.

Excuse me, if you haven't noticed, Finnick is totally not a duffer. He won his first Games around the age of fourteen. He has the looks, the skill, he can persuade, he's good at forming plans. I love Peeta too, but seriously, what did he do in the first Games? Proclaim his love for a girl, did a lot of kissing and got weak? Much different to Finnick's first Games :p

I agree! Peeta is awesome in his own way but Finnick is awesome in his. And while we're on the subject, so is Gale. I really like Gale a lot. I felt bad for him when he didn't "get the girl" but I think that Peeta was a better match for Katniss. As it's said in the book or movie or both, they had too much fire (Everthorne).

Everthorne= Everdeen+ Hawthorne It's called a ship. A mix of two names. Trust me I just learned that too.
Gale was great in the first book and amazing (ly beautiful) in the movie. But he ended up being a jerk in Mockingjay, which is really too bad.
