Finally. Just going to add that if you are doing this from your mobile, make sure you open the image on a separate tab then copy the URL.
[image error]Hey guys, I know I am late to the group but I am having trouble with coding for the gif. I tried it for 5 times and nothing worked. Once I created a link to the image but not actual image. Most of the time, it said image error.
I did use copy image address though. Its my first time trying to do gifs on Goodreads

Here's how I do it on my laptop:
* find a gif
* right click it and copy -> "copy image address"
* use code (found above the box under (some html is ok) <***img src="http://www.goodreads.com/image..." width="40" height="100" alt="description"/***>
I used ***in the example HTML but don't use it when you make your gif otherwise it won't work. I had to do it that way to make it show in this thread.
I also take the width and height numbers. Then it will automatically set the gif width and height for you. But if you want you can play with those numbers to make it the size you want.
Example:
<***img src="https://media.tenor.com/images/0faded...." width="" height="" alt="description"/***>
I am making some progress. At first, It always said "image error" but I kept practicing. Though, I wonder what I did wrong. The size isn't correct, I really need help, guys.

Try removing the numbers for the size and leave that blank
