Reon So i finished dragons of summerflame, And now I'm confused on what to read next, on http://dragonlancenovelguide.com/ it says read war of souls (dragons of a fallen sun etc.) and then the dark disciple trilogy. But on dragonlance nexus it is said that I should read the core fifth age novels (dragons of a new age and the Dhamon Saga). So...whats your advice?

Follow the Nexus list they are pretty much the definitive place to go for all things Dragonlance :)

Mustafa Kemal (mp0int) | 2 comments War of Souls is written by main author of the series and includes sme known heroes. It is the next book in the main series after Summerflame.

Dragons of a new age is in the secondary series. Secondry series means, It is a main book and it tells the sorty of some heroes and event (which you will come accross in the main series books) and give great information about the fifth age. They are not must read but good to read for general chronology of events.

So, if you have time, read Dragons of a New Age and Dhamon Saga. They are great books and tells the stories which of most are background events (or past events) in War of souls and Dark Disciple. Without reading Dragons of a New Age and Dhamon, you will enjoy War of souls and Dark Disciple, but you wil not have much information about events like what is dragon purge and how it happens.

Wastrel | 1 comments Unless you're using Dragonlance as a religion, I wouldn't worry about what's a primary series and what's a secondary series.

If you want to read Dragonlance in the order in which things happen, the fifth age novels come between (and were written between) summer flame and war of souls, and deal with important events.
