I don't care if she was mad or you were... You aren't supposed to harm a helpless kit. The code states you're supposed to protect kits, even from other clans. Once the clan finds out what Riverwhisp did she's going to be punished.

Doesn't mean you can try and kill it. Warriors don't hurt kits, period. Especially kits who haven't learned to fend for themselves. And if I remember correctly Willowleaf gave an order to the clan to leave Athena's kits alone since she rescued and returned Foxfang back to them.

No, you don't kill another cat unless you absolutely have to in order to save yourself, and usually that cat is way beyond the warrior's code. Most cats just get kicked out of the clan if their crime is severe.

I didn't say Riverwhisp killed Forest. I was merely answering Gwynnie's question on how Clan cats handle criminal cats.

Usually if a cat is a danger to all clans, the clan they were from notifies the others of the crime and they refuse to let them in, they becomes a rogue or loner and is driven out of territory. There are always exceptions where a cat has to be killed for the safety of all, that is one of the rules on the warrior code: The safety of the clan is more important than one cat

But during battles and border skirmishes, the clan cats aren't technically supposed to kill each other, just drive them out of the battle/make them retreat. Deaths do happen, most of the time accidental.

There are always exceptions though. Some cats kill because they want to. If a cat kills or tortures another cat for no reason they are often not accepted into StarClan and instead go to the Dark Forest.
