You can--but there's a scar you can't remove. You forget about it but whenever you're just moving on you just keep remembering it.

If the stalker becomes too aggressive (following to your house, or calling you, or showing himself, or threatening you in any sort of way, positive or negative) the first thing is to talk to an adult, namely your parents or your guardian. If it's like my case, then simply contact the cops.
Of course the first step is to ignore them. But if this goes on for a long time, say, a month or 2, then I suppose it'll be time for some help. :)

Mine went for about 8 months. It increasingly got worse at it got closer to the end. I tried to tell my parents. They didn't really seen to care. And I didn't tell the cops. It would have been useless. I dealt with it all basically myself.
