I will be starting in a couple hours. I have some work to finish for school.
I feel bad...you read that on your own and I said I would read it with you. Sorry.
Oh don't worry! I had to try and read it when I got chance cause I'm at my parents house and don't get much time to read here. It's quite a short story really cause it's written in verse ☺

That's good. I had planned to get all my work done last night (Friday for me) but with the earthquakes my whole schedule was thrown off. And for some reason my professors have thrown so much at me for this weekend. I will read it...most likely really late in the night.

An earthquake?! I kept delaying my visit but it's mother's day tomorrow so ended up making a last minute trip!
Yes I live in California in Yorba Linda and La Habor (I believe that's how you spell it) was hit with a 5.1 and we are only couple miles away from there. So we felt it nicely, a thought of my books fell around my room. We have had several aftershocks.
It's great to spend time with your mom. It's always fun when I spend time with mine.

I don't get to see mine very often cause 3 hours on a bus with a three year old isn't always easy!

Years have passed since Alice lost her mother to cancer, but time hasn't quite healed the wound. Alice copes the best she can by writing her music, losing herself in her love for her boyfriend, and distancing herself from her father and his new wife.
But when a deadly snowstorm traps Alice with her stepmother and newborn half sister, she'll face issues she's been avoiding for too long. As Alice looks to the heavens for guidance, she discovers something wonderful.
Perhaps she's not so alone after all....
Lindsey and I will be reading this on March 29th 2014. Everybody welcome ☺
